+ -1 moreThe contactor was contacted a week or so prior to hurricane Irene and a proposal was submitted by the contractor. The proposal had to be modifed to clarify selects parts. I replied and requested the work to start ASAP but be completed prior to a specified date.Then the hurricane struck (no damage to my roof). This contractor contacted me and said that he could start August 30th and he did arriving at the specified time of 7:30AM. I was impressed that he pressed on with my "routine" reroofing project when he just as ealily could have pursued over 100 other probably very lucrative projects occuring as a result of the hurricant. The roofing crew (aboue 5) were hard working and very profession. The only glitch in the project was than the Timberline shingles were of a different (but similar0 category than I requested. I contacted the contractor and he removed the wrong singles installed and replaced them with the correct shingles. The clean up was superb and the new roof looks great. I would recomment this contractor for any roofing project.
Description of Work: The contractor was Wall Sheet Metal, Inc. located in Colonial Heights, VA 23834. This contrtactor reroofed a single family house with Timberline HD LIfetime Shingles. This involved removal of existing shingles and felt and replacement of same along with water/ice shied bordering, and ridge venting. It also included the replacement of some wood located near the chimney; the removal and reinstallation of a gutterguard system; and total area clean up after the roofing was done.
