They were a fantastic company to work with! Gene helped me choose all of the appliances and made sure I got the best deal possible from the manufacturer. She was always there when I needed her and always returned my calls in a short amount of time. Justin was also really terrific. He made sure the cooktop was installed properly and we were happy with our purchases.

I was very pleased with them. They were prompt, they seemed very knowledgeable and they helped me weigh the advantages and disadvantages of repair versus replacement of a dryer. They pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone, when the repair man arrived he had the parts with him and was able to repair it in about 30 minutes. They were very responsive and I was able to schedule an appointment within a week.

Half of the control panel quit working on the dishwasher.  I called (after looking on Angie's List) a couple of repair places and ended up with The Appliance Place in Colonial Heights, VA (which would have been my choice from past dealings).  Made the appointment and the repairman was out there in just a few days.  The repair person went as far as to call Electrolux for me to see if there was any warranty left on the control panel and yes there was!  He ordered the part and came back out to the house just a few days later to fix it.  Very friendly and professional and I was not charged an arm and a leg for their service.  Very impressed!  After he left we had another problem with the dishwasher. Water leaked all over the kitchen after we ran it.  I called the office and the repair person happen to be there so they let me talk to him.  I explained the new problem and he ordered the part and will be out this afternoon to fix it.  Hopefully the dishwasher will be satisfied this time.

The sales staff were informative and helpful.  Since we did not want stainless appliances, the range had to be special-ordered from Maryland.  Both items were delivered and installed very efficiently by courteous technicians.    
We have some more appliances that need to be replaced in the future and we will definitely buy them from The Appliance Place.

They came on time, they did not do more than what they needed to do, there was a guarantee with their work and I felt that they were very honest.

Thye were prompt and efficient in their service. I had previously discussed a replacement oven with Lowe's but Lowe's would not guarantee a fit and advised contracting carpentry service to ensure fit. The Appliance Place guaranteed a fit and made everything simple.

We recommended them on the people of James River. It was more like a family place. The people there help and take care of you. I will get more of my appliances there.

I thought that I wanted Stainless-Steel appliances, but Justin pointed out that, since I wanted to save as much money as I could, he had "Stainless-Look" appliances which are easier to keep clean and also would save me about $800 overall. So, I went with the "Stainless-Look". The delivery went very smoothly. As promised, they called me in the morning and arranged an afternoon delivery time. The truck arrived EXACTLY on time. The crew was professional and courteous and very careful to not scrape my freshly painted walls, which I greatly appreciated. They briefly demonstrated the operation of the range, explained the best way to keep it clean, hooked up the refrigerator to the water line and pointed out some of its features.

They installed the new dishwasher so I blamed the problem on their service guy. Luckily, I was home to catch the leak and it wasn t too bad so I was able to mop it up without any extended damage to anything. They were good about getting out here to fix the problem, but I'd be careful before I used them again for an appliance that needed installation with any plumbing hook up.

The guy replaced an $8 spring on my dishwasher's door and didn t even get it working right. He failed to replace the second spring on the door which was harder to get at. I thought he was just lazy or not very thorough, but it seemed hard to miss. We got the second spring and replaced it ourselves for much less.

The Appliance Place was very organized. They were very polite and they made sure I was assisted quickly. When we made the service call and they came over immediately and they had everything they needed in the van so he didn't have to make another trip. The cost was very competitive.

We called them because the ice maker wasn t making ice and the refrigerator was making a funny noise. They came right out and repaired the problem. It was very simple, but they did a very good job. The part was what cost the majority of the price and the guy was very respectful.

They did a really good job at getting out here quickly after my call and fixing the problem. I liked that they came prepared and didn t have to come back out another day to fix it. When he was done, he came over to answer any questions I had. I buy all of my appliances there. I really like the fact that they will match any other competitive pricing.
