Sears

The serviceman showed up to fix my mower that would not start and adjust the clutch. He said what he thought was wrong (Coil). Said clutch could not be adjusted (not true). Asked for $96.00 and left. Basically my mower wouldn't start when he arrived and still wouldn't when he left. My wallet was $96.00 lighter. I was fleeced. I changed coil and it still wouldn't start.

They did very well as far as coming in and doing a very clean job. They came in a very timely manner. They were very professional. They finished the job. They told me that they could finish the job in five days but they finished the job in three days. They were very punctual.

Provider dispatched a technician in Texas for a clothes dryer repair in Virginia. No resolution offered aside from offering to start the process over again with scheduling. Now I face another week without a functioning clothes dryer.

They did a good job with the tire, but tried to sell us a front end alignment our dealership says we do not need.

it took almost three months for them to respond, very rude call center people, installed the wrong part and due to the length of time the fridge was out of service we had to buy a new one and our floors were ruined.

First, we called someone to make the appointment who was clearly at some huge call center.  We had to wait a couple of days for an appointment that was supposed to be between 1-5pm.  We finally got a call around 4:00, saying the technician would probably not be here until 5:30 or so.  He actually showed up at 7:30, appeared exhausted, spent about 10 minutes looking at the washer and said he could not duplicate the leaking so there was nothing he could do.  The next day, the washer was leaking as usual.  We called again, since we had already spent the money for the service call, and got another date for 1-5pm again.  The same technician showed up around 4:30 pm (I have now spent a total of almost 11 hours waiting on this guy!).  He again claimed he could not find a leak at all, and basically called me a liar about the way it was leaking!  I persisted in trying to have him fix it anyway, and he finally found a tiny tear in the door seal, and replaced the door seal.  Problem solved?  NO.  Next day, leaking even WORSE.  My husband called Sears and asked for our money back, and they said they would submit a form!  Meanwhile, I called another repairman, who came and explained that Sears did not finish the job: there is a clamp for the door seal, and if it is not attached (which it was not, by the Sears technician), water can just pour out of your machine and I was "lucky the whole house did not flood"!  Later Sears called and told me they would refund the money for the parts, but only if they came and removed the part!  I insisted that they refund LABOR, never mind parts, and they offered to refund half.  I persisted some more since the guy totally botched the job, and they finally refunded $65 in labor,  and gave me a $35 gift card to Sears.  This was a terrible experience all the way around.

They were very respectful of my home. They got to my house fast to fix it.

We usually buy the maintenance agreements on our appliances. They are pretty reliable. They came when they said they were coming. The man was very pleasant. He got the work done and left. They didn't try to talk us into something that wasn't covered by the maintenance agreement.

They were very professional and were very good.  They had come out 3 years ago as well.  I did not spend anything because it was warranty work.  I will definitely call them again.  Their prices are good.  They take a while to get out but were here when they said they would. 

It was very good. They came on time, they were friendly, and they did everything quickly. I haven't had any problems with it since, so I am very satisfied with their service. The price kind of surprised me. I've never bought a garbage disposal before but I guess that is the going price.

The service was lousy. They only service this area every other week. They have to order parts every time. It takes close to a month to get anything done.

They were a little more expensive than I expected, but the windows look excellent. They did good work and I would use them again.
