called Woodland Repair to fix our Whirlpool washing machine. I had already looked up the error code but Sunny did not seem to be familiar with the process. He was able to repair the machine on the second visit. The true problem arose when we were talking to Sunny about our GE Monogram gas stove that was really hard to clean. Sunny told me that I could remove the drip pans on the stove by removing the bolt that held the gas line on the burner. He made is seem like this would be a routine endeavor. He explained it all to me and then he left our home. I removed five of the six bolts but on the last one, the gas line either bent or broke. We called Woodland back to ask them what to do. After several days Sunny came back out to the house but did not know how to fix the problem. After several calls to get some help. They sent another technician out. He said he had to order a part but never called or came back. After several calls to their office, we contacted an authorized GE repair service. He said that stove is not meant to be taken apart by the consumer and we never should have been told to take it apart. We have lived with this hard to clean stove for 15 years. We would NEVER have tried to take it apart if we had not been directed by a service "professional" The authorized GE service rep indicated that parts are not available to repair the stove and that it is not really a repairable issue anyway. This 15 year old stove was originally over $10,000. We are left with a six burner stove that only has four working burners. Woodland appliance has offered no solution nor have they offered us any compensation for their very bad advice. I would not use this service unless you were absolutely positive they knew what the issue was and exactly how to repair it.
