Bobby came out several times on Saturdays to take measurements and to answer the numerous questions we had. The price quoted was for labor only and we were responsible for purchasing the materials (tile, cabinets, counter tops, bath fixtures, etc). The price quoted seemed fair so we went with Lucas and scheduled a date for work to begin.
As I noted, we were responsible for buying all of the materials for the project, but we were hardly and quot;on our ownand quot; in this regard as Lisa Lucas was very helpful and gave us ideas and good products/vendors to use. At their guidance, we used Mosaic for tile and Firuzzi for counter tops. Lisa coordinated the ordering/deliver/pick-up of products from these vendors. In addition to the recommended vendors, Lisa and Bobby were helpful in giving us tips and pointers and the various brands and products we were looking at. As far as miscellaneous supplies (grout, liquid nails, cement board, wood, etc), Bobby provided itemized receipts for which we paid for on a weekly basis. Our questions were generally answered in a timely manner.
As for the quality of the work, it was exceptional. The work was done in a very professional manner and Bobby takes great care and pride in high quality work. Throughout the project, he would continue to take time to answer all of our many questions. . Some of our ideas were not the greatest, and Bobby would gently guide us to a better solution.
While he was in our home for a bit longer than originally projected, the quality of the work made up for the longer than anticipated time-frame. In my opinion, I would rather have the work completed correctly and to a very high level of workmanship than just quickly completed incorrectly in a sloppy manner.
Bobby took great care in protecting our floors and containing the dirt and dust during the project. After his last day of work, the home was in perfect condition. Several weeks after completing the project, Bobby came back to adjust some of the cabinet doors and touch up some of the grout work in the bathroom.
We plan on using Lucas again when we decide to remodel our master bathroom.
