Everything went well. I thought the price was high, since I know the PRV is about an $80 part; the job took all of 15 min. Vance was my service tech and he could not have been more professional and courteous. He explained to me the repair that was done and answered all my questions. My one and only complaint would be is that I had to clean up water that was on the floor.

A Heatwole Plumbing Service misrepresented charges, fees and failed to resolve the original drainage issue. A Heatwole Plumbing Service was hired to resolve a drainage issue I was having with water in my sink backing up and draining slowly. Mr. Heatwole pre-determined that my garage disposal needed to be replaced and provided me a quote over the phone for $150.00 to replace my disposal (BAIT and SWITCH). After he arrived, it took him less than 1 hour to replaced my garbage disposal and charge me over twice the amount quoted ($350.00). To make matter worst, I later discovered that my sink was still backing up. When I questioned him about the price increase, he denied his original price quote because he said he could not even purchase a disposal for less than $150.00. Which, I later discovered that the garbage disposal that he installed, (1/2 HP "Badger 500" sales for $84.50) at HomeDepot. Additionally, Mr. Heatwole refused my request and became very defensive when I asked to see my old disposal, provide verification of product value, labor rate, receipt or warrenty. He literally proceeded to through a Temper Tantrum which was so loud that my daughter could hear him yelling from upstairs and came downstairs to question what was causing Mr. Heatwole to behave in such an aggressive manner. In order to the uncomfortable situation and get him out of my home, I reluctantly paid him and decided to try and put the terrible experience behind me. But, less than a week later, my drain was backed up again and I had to have my local Handyman resolve the issue. The next day, I requested a stop payment on the $350.00 check to Mr. Heatwole Plumbing Service. After explaining to Mr. Heatwole about my dissatifaction with his service and conduct, he arbitrarily charge me an additional 6% interested and $50.00 bank fee that he later admitted that he was not charged. To which, he followed up with weekly letters, numerous phone calls before 8am demanding payment and fees, left a phone message stating that he would not go away, he would continue to contact me to, "get his money, one way or another". Mr. Heatwole trespassed on my property after I told him to stop contacting me directly. Then, he posted copies of his payment invoice to my front door, mailbox and garage to publically deface me and vandalize my personal property. After Mr. Heatwole's second trespassing violation, I had to call the police to contact Mr. Heatwole in order for him to stop the agressive behavior and trespassing. My only hope is that other consumers will be made aware of my experience so that A Heatwole Plumbing Service does not continue to take advantage of other consumers.

He has been in business for many years and we are satisfied with the work. A little pricey for 1 hours worth of work but well worth it.

Vance is always professional and extremely thorough in his work. I have used him numerous times for plumbing problems over the last 15 years. I would hate to have to find another plumber. His attention to detail is one of his strongest qualities. He thinks through his work and when he's finished, he's not only fixed the problem, but made small improvements that just make things work better.

Their main office is in Maryland. They were great. We haven't used them lately. I don't know how much we spent on the toilets but it was a lot. I tried to speed up the work but he didn't quite get the message. I wish everybody was as nice as they were to work with. I can't remember the price, but it was fine. We had the confusion about getting the toilets ready, but he was responsive especially when I had problems later. He was punctual. We waited till the end of the day for him to come. We didn't have a set time for him to come. We were usually the last customer of the day since he lived here. He was professional. We would use him again in the future.

I've been using them on and off for twenty years. He's very professional and his quality of work is good. I can use him regularly when there are plumbing issues.

I called in the morning, and he was here within an hour to fix the toilet. He worked diligently and repaired the toilet and replaced the handle so that it was all back in working order. He is very professional and just a nice guy (you'd feel comfortable with him in your house). I asked a question about another area where I had a concern (not problem) and he collaborated with me on a solution. I would definitely recommend him again. I rated the price as "good" as I thought it was a bit pricey for a 1/2 hour of work, but I didn't have an estimate and haven't used a plumber in a while so I wasn't sure if this was reasonable or not.

The plumber arrived at the appointed time. He wore shoe coverings to protect floors. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was pleasant but not chatty.
