About us

Established in 1991 and located in Christiansburg, Virginia New River Insulation Company does residential and commercial insulation. We offer our customers products that are energy efficient and earth friendly. Installed by trained insulation mechanics. Our product list includes Open and Closed Cell Foam, Blown In Blanket Fiberglass and Cellulose, Core Fill Foam, Insul Smart, and earth friendly formaldehyde free Fiberglass Echo Batt. Our after paint department offers shower doors, shelving, mirrors, windows and screens, and bath accessories. Our company is a member of the Insulation Contractors Association of America, EarthCraft of Virginia, New River Valley Home Builders Association.

I was scammed with attic insulation costing $3,000. I hired a lawyer who recommended New River Insulation. They came out and eveluation their work and I reported it to the company doing the scam and they stopped billing me. New River Insulation did the work and a much better job for $400.

Spray foam insulation in the basement (rim joist and the walls). Two inches maintained quite well, a few spots were 1.75 inches but most of it was consistently two inches. The rim joist area was done quite well with a few areas not quite getting the 2 inches. With a respirator on, the spray head nozzle, and the pipes in the way I don't know if I could have gotten those few spot any better.
Workers were punctual, and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thinking about having my attic done too.

I was very pleased with the job. They came over twice and gave me the estimate and two weeks later did the work. The workers were very professional. There was a mishap that caused the house to fill with exhaust. They were apologetic and aired out the house.
