IOur tech was very kind, personable, and helpful, so we hired him. Unfortunately, i the process of removing our old faucet, he tore up our plumbing to the faucet. The job cost went from about $275 to over $750; it trebled. In addition, during the work, apparently some of the lubricant he used got into our hardwood floor and left it stained, which we did not notice until after the tech had gone. So the job was unexpectedly very expensive, and he made no offer to absorb the cost. We didn't want to argue, but were quite disappointed, though did not verbalize this. That part is on us.
