Awesome, quick response.

We opted to work with this company because it was among the least expensive options, quick response time and the owner claimed to have 40 years experience and had seen it all. The job consisted of a whole 3.200 sq ft home interior paint and, including doors, trim, rails and a garage; some external painting for a front porch and a doorway were also included. Small blemishes on the walls such as nail pops and minor cracks were also supposed to be fixed. It was going to be a 4-person crew and an estimate of 6 days, all furniture would be covered, and window treatments removed before painting. On the first day, the owner drops off most of the materials, we do another run through the home until the 3-person crew arrives. After a quick brief with his team, he says he will stop by every morning to look over the work and make any notes and we should feel free to bring up any issues at any time. The crew removed a TV from the wall, centered all the furniture in the living room and common areas, haphazardly covered the items, turned on the loud music and went to work. When the painters finished for the day, we looked over the work by shinning a flashlight at an angle at the walls to help identify any issues, and there are quite a few: a lot of roller fuzz, nail pops that weren’t addressed, paint drippings, paint bubbles, patches that needed to be sanded before a new coat of paint was applied, paint spray on the metals in the bathrooms which were not covered, paint on the AC consoles, lack of properly covering furniture and the failed removal of the window treatments. The next day, the owner arrives a few minutes before the crew, takes a quick look around the painted areas and was taken aback by all the tape pointing out the lack of care and attention on the job. He proceeds to inform us that in 40 years he has never had anyone shine a light on the walls to check the work, and that we were being unreasonable, asking too much of his team, that it is stretching the scope of what was agreed upon, but he would work with us to address the issues. He discusses the issues with the 3-person crew and we will see him early the next day. For the remainder of the project we would repeat the daily quality inspections and point out issues that needed to be addressed, continuously asked to cover furniture which kept getting paint splatter, and asked to cover the floor before painting. Towards the end of the project, three more people showed up to help finish the job on time, but quality remained an issue: - Missed nail pops, wall blemishes unaddressed, paint bubbles; - Paint splatter on the floors, furniture and mirrors over the bathroom sinks; - Paint brushes were being washed in the bathroom and kitchen sinks, although there is a utility sink in the garage; - Overall lack of care and attention to detail on the job. On the last day of the project, after the crew had left, we noticed that a few light switch plates had not been screwed back into place and the hand rail on the stairs was loose. I reached for the drill bits in my tool box to learn that three bits were missing. I contacted the owner about it and he thought that was very odd, that I should check the house to make sure I hadn’t misplaced them. The owner states that he checked with his team, but no one had touched the tool box, but he would replace the missing items - and he did with a complete new set of bits. A few days after the project was completed, as daylight moves around the house, we noticed at least two walls did not receive a proper second or third coat of paint with many roller marks visible. In summary: - This professional uses contractors for the job; - Sloppy work overall and very poor attention to detail - pictures available for your evaluation - Would not recommend this professional - not worth the $12,680 invested in this project

Paul and his crew did amazing work. As part of the job there was a ton of trim painting to be done and it all looks great. Paul had his crew at the site on time and they made quick work of the job. Will definitely be using again and highly recommend!

Words cannot describe how good the job was done. I had real dark walls and wanted them painted light. Paul and the crew did an excellent job, beyond our expectation. Even he respected my special request and did an extra work. Would definitely hire again, highly recommended if you want some one to take away all your painting stress and leave you feeling super happy.

Great work by Riedel Brothers and their crew. I had them repaint my entire downstairs, including repainting the kitchen cabinets and painting some custom bookshelves. They are very fast and do a good job for the price.

Team was punctual and quick with estimate. They executed project on time, and completed within one day. Team was professional and courteous and the quality of work was outstanding. No complaints, it looks great!

The job was started early. Which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and efficient. They answered all my questions and concerns. Dan Riedel and his crew worked fast and we're very professional. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a painter. Great experience.

Excellent overall experience.

It went great! Dan and his crew were great! We had several rooms that either needed patching or rooms that needed full painting on a house that is about 18 years old. They also stained our back deck which looks amazing (like it did when we moved in). I couldn't believe how great the house looked inside and out. Even when our bathroom had a chip of paint, one call to Dan, and he came back personally to fix it right away!! Even tho they don't work on garage doors, Dan was even able to help me get the garage door back on its track and I am eternally great-full! I would recommend him and his brother's business to anyone who needs any painting work done.

I had such a great experience with this company and would highly recommend using the Riedel Brothers. I will not hesitate to contact them in the future for any painting needs. Paul Riedel always showed up early to appointments and provided great advice on what I should do for an almost 100 yr old house with so much trim. He was easy to get hold of and quickly responded to messages. He also started quickly as I was on a deadline. The crew working at my house were very friendly and patient when we interrupted their long day to move some things. They painted all indoor walls, trim a few ceilings, and doors. I had my floors refinished afterwards and the floor company caused a lot of damage to my beautiful paint. Paul had already planned to have someone come back to do touch ups but the damage cause at least 9 hours of unexpected extra work. I was so impressed at how reassuring Paul was and that he had the work done without causing extra stress or hassle in dealing with the floor company. You won't go wrong using the Riedel Brothers.

Mr. Riedel worked around my schedule to come give an estimate on a Saturday morning. He was able to provide an estimate during the same appointment, and was also able to advise me on paint brands and finishes. The quality of the final product was great--ceiling, walls and trim of almost the entire house look great! Most impressive is the level of service--knowing that we were moving into the house shortly, Riedel Brothers put an extra crew on the job and worked late hours to get the job done. They were also very responsive to correct a minor item on the punch list. I definitely plan to use them again once the renovations on the rest of the house are completed.

Super easy to work with. Nice job. I had to ask them to do touch ups, but they came back the next day no questions asked and took care of it.

The work was accomplished on time and at the estimated cost. The worker were on time and pleasant and cleaned up at the end of each day and and the end of the job! The owner one of the two brother inspected the work every day and at the end of the work before payment was due! Very pleased

Excellent. Paul was great to deal with. Very helpful with picking out the paint, provided the detail in the estimate requested and started on the date and time he had indicated when we first set up our appointment. His team of painters were very professional, did a great job of covering furniture, cleaned up each day and really worked hard. I was impressed with the number of painters that came, making what I thought was to be a 3-4 day job a two day job. Paul also went the extra step in trying to match our ceiling paint and was very flexible when addressing our needs. When I need a painter again in the future, Riedel will be my first call.

Did an outstanding job. Painted several rooms, hall, staircase and kitchen. Also painted trim in master bedroom. Cleaned up when finished so you would not know they had been there. Finished work in day and a half.

They did an excellent job. Quick and professional. I found a few spots that needed retouching and they did that immediately. Would definitely hire again.

Paul Riedel (owner) came by and offered a quote. We compared it to another quote that we had received and his rate was standard/average, but he seemed reliable, likable, and knowledgeable. Therefore, we chose Riedel Brothers, and we were very please with the work and the fact that he called us through the process with updates. (There were also 2 other contractors and he communicated very well with them, including one who was very difficult to work with). In addition, Paul did a fair amount of touchup work at the end for us as well.
