Gutter Repair and Replacement
I'm filing this report for an elderly friend of mine.
Isaac Forrest of Forrest Construction came to her home unsolicited and offered to clean and repair gutters.
Gutters were cleaned and one small section was replaced.
This was completed in less than one day's time.When job was complete, Mr. Forrest, who never offered an estimate, took out a blank sheet of paper and began to write down the charges as he stood with my friend.
He charged her $2,500, and she wrote him a check on the spot.This was after the banks had closed on a Friday, She called her son, and put a hold on the check.
Monday morning, Mr. Forrest appeared again at her home to say that there was trouble with the check. She informed him that she had checked to see how much she should have been charged, stopped the check, and was now willing to pay him $350. Mr. Forrest accepted the reduced payment.
GThis company and other companies associated with Mr. Isaac Forrest have had their BBB accreditation revoked.
