It went great! She is great with animals and always puts them number one. It definitely puts my mind at ease knowing he is with her, when he can't go with me, because she always spoils him and treats him like her own. He normally has anxiety when I leave him, but he is always excited to Marla. She is wonderful and very professional.

Marla lost my dog on the first day in a heavily wooded area by taking her to a property she didn't own and left her unattended off leash and went around the corner (see photos she sent of Koda in a horse fence with holes and missing boards, no wire mesh) next to Pocahontas state park. 10 days later and I still don't have her back. My calls and texts went unanswered for 8+ hours. A volunteer tracker offered assistance before I even knew my dog was missing and Marla didn't take her help until I spoke with the tracker the next day. On day 3, she finally started handing out flyers that I made. She's been playing victim throughout the whole experience because I didn't want her in my house anymore to care for my other pets, threw a fit that her number wasn't on the flyers, and that I didn't invite her to participate in professional tracking with scent sniffing dogs (she did pay for it though). So if you care about your pets, run, don't walk, from Marla. Update 6/30/22 She played victim during the whole ordeal and 12 days later after a stranger found her, Marla never asked about my dog's well being. My dog is lucky to be alive. Avoid at all costs.

I know this has been devastating, painful, and understand your anger, that alone doesn’t make this right. It is certainly not indicative of the quality of service my clients normally experience. I have been in business for twelve years and take pride in my care and service. There are concerning details in your review that I would like to clarify. It is important to note that I did contact you immediately by text and voice mail after initially searching for her on the premises. I stayed on property overnight to see if she would return, unfortunately I had no cell service. I posted on Lost & Found Pets Chesterfield. I have been doing everything I possibly could do to try to find her. I have done everything you have asked. Visiting and calling shelters & local vet offices, printed & hung flyers (Sunday thru Saturday), and took direction from you and the trapper for the placement of camera/food station, and bought additional cameras. As I stated privately, I am willing to do whatever it takes to get Koda returned to you and make this situation right."

Ms. Caldwell , owner of All For Cobalt, is one of the very few professional pet sitters in Virginia. She operates a real business. This is not some kid walking your dog. This is a person who knows how to take care of your beloved pets when you are away. I am incredibly anxious about leaving my pets alone even for a few hours....SO you can imagine how I feel about leaving them for a week or longer. I have used Ms. Caldwell's services for longer then 3 years. I am no longer afraid to go away on vacation. You get what you pay for...so don't expect this to cost $10.00 a visit. Ms. Caldwell is very reasonable when you realize you are paying for professional services.

Marla is an excellent person to take care of pets while you are away. She goes above and beyond what is required. She not only fed my cats and took care of the liter box, she spent time with them and spoiled them. If you are looking for cheap, go somewhere else. If you are looking for an animal lover who will treat your pets as good or better than you, and someone you can rely on, this is who you want to use.

Marla is the most loving pet pet sitter ever!!! I totally trust her with my precious ones. She overnight sat with them 3 nights. The pets were so happy with her. She made sure they ate,as the dogs did not want their usual food. She bought and boiled chicken for them, which they loved and readily ate! She bought them some toys, played with them and pampered them.The house was super clean and neat . Does it get any better than that?? I highly recommend Marla. She will not disappoint!!!!!

Linda cared for my cat. I think she is the cat whisperer!
When Marla and Linda came to my home for the preservice interview, I knew they were animal lovers! My two dogs hovered for their attention and Linda spoke to my cat so sweetly he came right out for her to pet!
I received daily text messages and we also spoke a few times on the phone. She left me a journal of what he did each day I was away. My home was neat and clean on my return, smelling fresh and of course most importantly-my cat was happy and relaxed! It doesn't get any better than that! I felt relieved she was taking such good care of him, I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation!

Marla was amazing. We always have family watch our pets while we are away on vacation (7-10d) or take the dogs with us camping for the weekend. However, they are 2 and frac12; hours away, which makes it difficult to take weekend trips to areas that are not dog-friendly or where our dogs would not feel comfortable. We received Marla’s name from a friend of ours, and had her
come out to meet the girls. We have a golden retriever mix, a silky terrier, and a skittish and self-sufficient tabby cat. The silky is very protective and will bark consistently if she does not like someone. The golden will also let us know if she does not like someone. However, when Marla entered the house, I was amazed. The silky stopped barking less than 5 minutes after meeting Marla, let her pet her within 10 minutes, and by 15 minutes she was playing with her! The golden would not leave her side, and the cat did not run out of the room, and even let Marla pet her! We knew they would be in good hands. While we were
away, Marla text and emailed us pictures of the girls, and gave us updates. She was also very respectful of our property. When we returned home, we found a note that told us all about the girls’ evening and that she washed and put away everything she used, flowers, and other surprises (although we paid her just to stay with the girls, I think she also emptied the cat litter, brought in the mail, picked up dog poop, and put our forgotten-washed-laundry in the dryer!). Marla certainly cares about animals and is not a “pee-and-run” pet sitter, and we certainly trust her in our home (which is a very difficult thing for us to do). We were so relieved to have found her, and will certainly be calling her whenever we need another getaway!

From our first meeting with Marla and Linda, my husband and I felt we had finally met people we could trust to watch our dogs and cats while we took a short vacation. Linda provided exceptional care for all the animals including detailed information on each visit and explained her interaction with each animal. She fed and provided water for the dogs, made sure they had plenty of time to spend in the yard and spent time with them in the house. She fed and provided water for the cats, cleaned the litter boxes on every visit and gave them attention. Linda also brought the mail in, kept the house immaculate and even 'scooped the poop' from the backyard. We spoke to Linda while we were away and she kept us updated on how everybody was doing and was so calm and reassuring, I realized she had everything under control and we could relax and enjoy our time away. When we got back home our babies were doing wonderful and house looked great! Again, Linda was wonderful and made our trip away so much easier. I would highly recommend All for Cobalt.

Marla did a great job of going beyond the basics. When we finally returned home late at night, a few lights were left on for us and the radio was playing softly. The house smelled great and there was no litter or cat food on the floor. The litter boxes were clean and the food and water bowels were clean and full. Marla texted us with weekly updates and sent us pictures of the cats enjoying their new toys. She visited with us for a good long time before we left on our trip and took time to learn all of the routines and nuances of caring for our cats and home. She left us a detailed summary of her visits along with extra cat treats and a special plant for our home. It was very nice to come home to. I would highly recommend Marla and will use her services again.

Marla is very much an animal person, her top priority is to take care of my dogs and now a parrot. She spends time with each one with hugs and snuggles. I have Chihuahua's and if the weather is cool she will put their blankets in the dryer for a warm up and my smallest one just loves this. I have a detailed note as to what mood the animals were in and if everyone ate a good dinner. When I go
away for vacation Marla stays at my house. I miss my furry kids but never worry about them, I know they are in good hands. If she drops by when I am at home my dogs run to her just as they do when I come in from work. Marla has worked for me 4 years. I would and do recommend her highly.

We had met Marla a year ago when we lived in Powhatan but never had an opportunity to use her services. When we moved to Richmond in the fall 2013, we knew we would have to find care for our dogs over our daughter's wedding weekend in January 2013. My husband called Marla and she came to our house and met with us and our dogs for a few hours. We scheduled her services and felt pretty confident all would go well. I want to say Marla exceeded our expectations! She kept in touch via text and kept us apprised of how things were going at our house. We arrived home Sunday afternoon to find our home in perfect order, new toys for the dogs and a flower bouquet for us as well as extensive notes detailing every aspect of her stay. We will most definitely use Marla again without hesitation. She is a really fun person in addition to her superior professionalism.

I needed to go out of town quickly, within hours. My grown kids who usually watch my dogs weren't available, so I had to I had to scramble to find a new dog sitter. I called All for Cobalt pet sitting services. Marla came to meet my dogs right away and did great with them, even though they aren't the most well-socialized dogs. She took great care of them while I was gone, even sending me text updates and photos! I knew my babies were in loving, conscientious hands.

Wonderful. Each dog got their own walk due to their size, had their water refreshed and were fed a treat all while we were at work. it was nice to come home and have them relaxed. We even had the morning's dishes cleaned.

I have been using All For Cobalt's services for a three months and have found that Marla's company is absolutely terrific! She has Linda visit my cats while I am travelling and I return to find detailed notes on how they played and had their treats. Linda spent considerable time with one cat that has now passed away - this outside cat had gotten into a fight and had infections and rushed him to the vet. Obviously, this took a considerable amount of time on several occasions and she only charged me a nominal fee for one of these visits. They called me to let me know what was going on and followed-up after I had returned to see how he (Chip) was doing.
This is an EXTREMELY concientious group of wonderful, caring individuals. Considering the care, compassion and professionalism, their fees are a bargain.
In fact, Marla/Linda are taking care of my 3 cats this week as I write this.
