Really disappointed and feel basically taken by Pierce Mechanical. I was given their information as i requested quotes for a new furnace system for my home. I was told they could be here a couple days later and that was that. I was able to find a contractor and got the job done so when they call me on the day of the appt I told them i did not longer required their services. I thought that was that but i was issued a bill for cancellation! This was supposed to be a free quote and never signed any contracts but still they are billing for the time of a technician that never enter my home. I spoke to the representative in the phone hoping they just made a mistake and she confirmed they can bill me because i did not cancel with at least two hours advance notice. I did not know what time they would arrive and was never told they would charge me if I cancel the appt for the "FREE QUOTE". So I have to pay for no services rendered and was told too bad you have to pay! Really dont recommend this company to anyone so steer away from their services.

Simply fantastic.  Pierce debunked what another provider had told me "needed to be done" and gave me a cost $2k less than anyone else.  After coordinating the day for installation, they showed up promptly and took their time to do things correctly.  They removed all the old equipment and then showed me what it looked like and then gave a description of what they were about to do.  They were efficient and did a fantastic job...couldn't be happier and WILL use them again.

After consulting with other companies, I chose Pierce. Good price. Good people.

It went very well. After calling multiple places, no one could tell me what was wrong. I had paid $600 for the past two years to install new antifreeze, but that wasn't the underlying problem. This company found and fixed the actual problem.

My Central Air Conditioning system began leaking copious amounts of water all over the basement floor. It was suggested to me that the drain line for condensation was plugged and I should dump bleach down the vent line. Not comfortable with this option, I tried other, less toxic, ways of unblocking the pipe. I was able to stop some of the leaking but not all of it. After dumping out five-gallon buckets of water several times a day and repeatedly mopping out my garage, I relented and asked for help; something that doesn't come very easily to me. I asked a friend who is a General Contractor for a referral to a reliable HVAC company. I contacted Pierce Mechanical based on his recommendation.

I called on Thursday and an appointment was scheduled for the following Tuesday morning; very reasonable considering the season and that my system was still running. Jeff arrived promptly when he was scheduled, and immediately began to assess the problem and where the water was coming from. He explained to me that the drain system was indeed blocked and that there wasn't really much I could have done to prevent it. This earned him big points with me, because I had been soundly beating myself up thinking that I had failed in some critical maintenance step caring for my home. I was fully expecting to endure a very expensive, all-day, disassemble and clean-out of my system because I had been negligent.

Jeff immediately got to work cutting out the PVC pipes and showing me the blockage; YUCK! He cut and glued all new pipes and even corrected an error in the system that had been done fifteen years ago when it was installed. He then wiped down the entire system to remove the condensation that had accumulated just since we opened the garage door due to the excessive humidity we have been experiencing. He asked me to lower the thermostat so that the system would run continuously and checked for any remaining leaks. There were none. He then checked the coolant levels to ensure my system would continue to run as efficiently as possible.
He removed the old PVC piping and cleaned up all of the trimmings from the floor. He even helped me dump out the buckets of water that had accumulated from the night before. I asked about the charges; he said that I would be charged for a service call. I was elated!
Jeff was kind and courteous to me which was a welcome change from many of the encounters that I have had with workmen in my home. I highly recommend Pierce Mechanical; they treated me fairly and with respect, both on the phone during my initial call and during the service appointment.
