I showed Mike the rooms. I specifically asked if he was proficient at fixing the damaged spots. He assured me he was and told me many times that he had been painting his whole life. I believe he used the wrong product to patch the holes and damaged spots. I questioned him about it. He again assured me. Then after the patches had dried and he sanded, I pointed out many many patches that weren't sanded smooth. I assured me he'd fix them. When he was done, I pointed out that the white (original paint color) was visible throughout. I told him the patches need to be smoothed out and the walls needed a 2nd coat. There were drips on all most walls. He allowed the grey paint (new paint color) to run down on the baseboard. He also got the paint on the trim and ceiling. He also stepped in the paint and tracked it through all 3 rooms. He also got paint on the counter top, refrigerator and door knobs. I had to fix his mistakes and redo the entire job. It also took me more than 8 hours to scrap the paint off the floors. It took me 4 days to fix his work and repaint it myself.
