It has been over 2 years now since this company installed my driveway. It has hardened nicely, but still has loose particles on the top. Over all, I am happy with the way it has turned out, except for the loose material on top that is tracked into the garage and house.

Work was done professionally and according to timetable promised. The crew was great! Friendly and worked steadily. We love our new driveway, after having gravel for so many years. Would definitely recommend.

I had contacted 4 contractors, 2 of them returned my call. Mark Morrison returned my call within 30 minutes of me leaving the message and came out on a Saturday to meet with me to look at the job. He quoted me a price and sent me an email with the estimate. I called him on Monday with some modifications which involved fixing another area and he said he would do it for the same price. They showed up on they day they committed to on time. They did a great job and I would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

Great! The old driveway was removed. Ground was leveled and new stone under-layment was put down. New asphalt driveway was laid.

We scheduled with Mark back in May, after an extensive quoting process (8 different quotes). Mark came out within a few days of requesting a quote over the phone (don't use their website to request). I was most impressed with his knowledge, the care he took to explain the process, and the time he spent at my home answering questions and advising on issues I needed resolved. Additionally, his price was towards the lower end of the total range of quotes that I received. So we chose him b/c of responsiveness, high number of positive Angie's List/Google/Internet Reviews, professionalism/knowledge, and price. At the time of quoting and signing of the contract, he estimated the crew was about a month out to service the driveway. Turned out they were closer to two months out --- we had a rainy spring/summer so this has to come into consideration. At any rate, the crew descended upon my house at about 9am on Friday morning. By noon, they had the old driveway ripped up and footprint expanded, removal of two tree stumps previously in the expansion area, new foundation stone laid down and compacted, and the curb cut and smashed away. By 2p, they had the new asphalt down and rolled and were completely cleaned up and finished. The new driveway looks fantastic, and we are very pleased with work that Mark and his father and his crew provided. We would absolutely hire again and have already recommended him to several neighbors in the market for a new driveway. Driveway is about 1 month old now and has not had any issues. His work is warranted for 12 months.

Mark called within 30 minutes of my posting a question and arrived within one hour of the call! He quoted a fair cost for the repair and estimated my entire driveway repaving. Due to other, more pressing projects, I had to decline the entire driveway, but went forward with the repair. When his crew showed up, Mark actually replaced my entire apron as well as a couple of places on my driveway without any additional charges. His crew were very professional and extremely competent and Mark was enjoyable as well - even in spite of the drizzle. He knows I will call him to replace my entire driveway in a couple of years. He was thrilled to do the smaller job and knows I will contact him again. Trust Mark without reservation.

Mr. Morrison showed up to assess my gravel driveway promptly on the evening we had agreed upon. As we discussed my concerns, he alleviated them, suggesting adding a raised asphalt level on one side to prevent water runoff to the house due to the gradient in the yard, also brainstorming on ways to add in space for cars to pass each other without adding on a second leg. He was very personable. When I signed my work contract, he assured me of a date of completion. His crew showed up and completed all the work necessary to go from dirt and gravel to fully paved in a single day while my wife and I were at work. There was no inconvenience at all to us, and even scheduled time after our work hours that day to stop by and review everything with us to conclude our transaction that night. I am overjoyed at how it turned out, and would recommend Mark Morrison Paving to anyone I know needing residential asphalt work.

Oh my goodness, it has made such a difference in the appearance of the house all together.  They did an amazing job and there was no mess for me to clean up.  I am so happy with the finished product.  I have had so many people ask me who did the work and everyone, especially my neighbors, have commented on how great it looks.  I feel like I live in a brand new  house!

This was a job with it's own set of challenges.  The driveway, measuring nearly 200 feet long, is on a steep incline and had recently been very inexpertly patched, which necessitated removing a considerable amount of asphalt coat before the repaving could begin.  There was also some old concrete paving that they removed to keep all of the joints level, even though they were not obligated to do so by contract.  They showed up promptly at 8:30 am on the agreed date and had the the job finished by 4:00 pm that afternoon.  I understand that two inches of fresh asphalt is the recommended minimum for paving over old asphalt.  They actually laid down somewhere between 3 and 4 inches, and were careful to roll it in such a way as to deflect water away from the house.  When the job was finished they left the site clean and free of debris, and were professional and friendly throughout.  The price was actually a somewhat less than several quotes for the same work that I had received some years ago from other reputable firms.  I would recommend them to anyone with hesitation and plan on calling upon them again soon for some other work I've been considering.
