John made promises about how the work would be done. On the day of the job he sent out Hamilton Forrest from Forrest Construction to actually complete the work. Hamilton did very poor work and when he left neither of the problems were solved and I had new problems too. For example, the asphalt he laid was so poorly done that another contractor could not go over it. All of Hamilton's work had to be removed (at a cost of $1200 to a different contractor). Hamilton told me that my issues were with John Docherty. John promised to come out and work things out with me, but did not. Now he will not take my calls and will not call me back. I checked and he does not have a business license, so my case has been assigned to an investigator from Chesterfield County. If anyone sees John Docherty please report the information to Chesterfield County, the business license investigation person.
Description of Work: They were supposed to repair my asphalt driveway in two locations.
