Both my husband and I are thrilled with the results. We managed the overall project but relied heavily on their professional knowledge, experience and expertise to make changes, hired other professionals and complete the construction. They were extremely proficient and always available to answer any and all questions. They are men of their word. They were working multiple construction projects during our construction, which often causes challenges,but not for us. They kept us informed when they would work on our job, as well as when they were not going to be able to work on our job due to their other ongoing projects. They always kept us informed of their availability and called us in the event of any delays or issues. And most importantly, they continuously made progress on our job ? in spite of their workload, winter from h*** and constant changes requested by us (many of which were the result of their better ideas and input)! Their expert skills were apparent as we encountered challenges with our blueprints. Our plans eliminated a wall between a small sitting room and our existing garage to give us more conditioned living space. This was a load baring wall. The blueprints reflected a dropped down beam to support the weight; however, this would have a negative impact on the blending and flow of these two living areas. Rather than stopping the construction, Sandy and Keith proposed alternatives, consulted with county building inspectors and developed a better solution. They were able to place a recessed steel beam, flush with the ceiling ? a perfect solution! This change made quite a difference in our project. They also recommended better use of available space that we had not considered. They were very cost conscience when making any recommendations and considered ?repurposing? of materials and alternatives to help us minimize our outlay of money ? something that was extremely important to us with our limited resources. Their attitude and ability to work well together with other professionals definitely contributed to the success of our project. Their working relationships with other members of the building industry allowed us to tap varied experts to get the job done. They have created a network of professionals who are reliable, competent and accessible. They trust each other?s technical capabilities and reliance. This informal coalition is priceless. We plan to hire them again and highly recommend them for any job ? large or small. We took photos during the construction project and will gladly make them available upon request.
