Zook Garage Doors

Fantastic ! I called Zook Garage Doors at 8:50 AM. The owner of the shop answered and told me he was just pulling up to his shop but as soon as his crews came in - that they would contact me. I told him that we had a real estate showing at 11:00 AM and we ended the call. Around 9:15 his crew member called me and told me he would be at my house at 10:00. The young man was polite and professional and worked quickly. He had the springs fixed and trouble shot the entire system for any other potential problems. I paid him and he was gone by 10:30. I cannot overstate how pleased we were that they got this done immediately for us - so that it was not an issue when showing the house to our prospective buyer that day. That is a courtesy that far too many repair contractors no longer provide. Zook Garage Doors are good people.

A home warranty company first assigned Sears to take care of broken garage door opener. Sears never called or showed up. A call to the home warranty company was made and the second time Zook Garage Door Services was assigned. Regina called the next morning and scheduled the repair for that afternoon. The repairman was prompt and had the problem fixed within fifteen minutes. This business is wonderful and I would not hesitate to use them again. As a matter of fact I am calling the home warranty company and telling them to drop Sears for any garage door problems in our area and only deal with Zook.

Called to schedule an appointment on Wednesday 7/24/2013. The young lady I spoke to was so pleasant and willing to accomadate my schedule. I received a call telling me that my technician was Eric and that he was on the way. From his arrival to departure he was very friendly, professional, and competant. This was the third time I have used this company and I will use them again if neccesary

Courteous and professional technician that arrived on time and with all the proper equipment and parts to effect repairs. After repairing garage door opener, did a courtesy inspection of the other garage door; noted worn out pulleys, and replaced them. I couldn't be happier with this company and their technicians. I will recommend them to my neighbors for garage door services.

We are repeat customers of Zook and did not hesitate to call them again. Our garage door motor broke after the Holidays and we called for an inspection. Eric Miller came out on December 31st and found we needed to replace our 21 year old garage door opener. He returned on January 2nd to install the new opener (which is so much quieter). He was very thorough and professional throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend this company and service technician in particular. We have always had a positive experience with Zook.

From the moment I called for an appt they were extremely accommodating to my schedule. I had to get it done during lunch hour due to my work limitations. They showed up on time, the very next day, and the service was professional and well done. They charged me the exact price that I was quoted. It was the lowest quote of several companies including one which was ready to charge me 2 1/2 times what I paid. Very pleased with the experience and would highly recommend them. This is how a small business should be run.

We have used this company three times. They have installed 2 different garage door openers and did a repair on a broken spring. The are very responsive and do the work within 1 - 2 days. The work is excellent, efficient, and honest. Repairmen are knowledgeable. When I was going to replace a broken 1/3 hp motor, they advised I could get a 1/2 hp for the same price. They were referred to us by a very satisfied friend.

They were so honest. They could have tried to sell me new doors but instead they replaced parts which made the cost way less expensive. I would highly recommend them.

I think their technicians seemed very honest and made sure that we understood the problems associated with the garage door. They also seemed genuinely interested in doing good work.

Zook Garage Door Services Company is awesome. I wish every company was like them. They did a perfect job. They call when they say they are going to call. They show up exactly when they say they are going to come out. They do quick, clean and perfect work. They charged me less than what they had quoted. They didn't do the actual un-framing of the doors. However, they told us exactly what needed to be done. They then worked around the existing frame and did exactly what they said they were going to do. I would use them again in the future.

I saw them recomended on Angies list and went with them based on that. I was really happy with everything from making the appointment to the services rendered. Price was reasonable as well. I will definitely use them again for any garage door work!

I called the evening of 29 Jul. The receptionist said they were busy, but she would talk to the repairman the next day to see if they coul fit me in and call me back first thing in the morning. True to her word, she called me at 9:05 am, that he could be here between 11 and 12. He then called at 11:20 and said he was running behind and would be here at 12:30. He was professional, quick, efficient and done by 1:00 pm. He charged me exactly what was quoted on the phone the day before. This was REAL service, I would recommend this company to anyone.

After I made my decision as to what garage door I wanted, I contacted the company in the morning. Because I was having to fly out of town the next day, I asked if the work could possibly be done that afternoon if the door was in stock. The company got right back to me and advised me the door was available and that as soon as Eric picked it up from their warehouse he could be there that afternoon. Eric arrived in less than two hours and set right to work. Eric was extremely competent and had the old garage door off very quickly. He then started the installation of the new garage door. He was very courteous throughout and was able to complete the removal and installation in less than three hours, even making a change for me as when he first installed the glass window row (as per my request on the third of four sections), the windows were lower than I expected. I asked him if the window panels could be changed to be at the top (fourth of the four sections). Eric said yes and then redid the installation of the last two panels to put the windows in the top section. Very professional from start to finish, including the initial contact with the salesman, Dennis, to quote me prices for repair or replacement. Besides the impressive service, the company provided me the best price of the three companies from whom I got estimates. I will continue to use Zook Garage Door Services and recommend them in the future. Thanks for a GREAT job!

Quick, efficient, inexpensive! At 11:30 PM the double garage door jammed about 2/3 of the way closed. It wouldn't close all the way and it wouldn't stay open. Two of the bottom pins had popped out and the cable had unwound from the pulley. I'd propped the door open with a 1x6 overnight to keep the stress off of it. The gentleman from Zook arrived when he promised he would, spent about 10 minutes fixing the door-he replaced the cable on the pulley, increased the tension on the cable and oiled the pins and the cable. He said there are companies who will come out in the middle of the night, but I had no access to the internet or a phone book at the time. Very pleased with the job.

I called Zook following an on-site estimate I received from another company that wanted to do unnecessary work which would have cost approximately $675. Zook was on site within an hour after placing the call and fixed the door in half an hour. He was totally professional, knowledgeable, and honest.

We were very pleased with them, they did a good job installing the new opener and it worked properly when they were done. They also installed the openers in our care for us. They provided us with a good service. The service guy was very polite and did a good job of cleaning up when he was finished. I have not had any problems with the opener.

We've used Zook several times before and are pleased with this service. They sent someone out quickly and he fixed it the same day. They've always been good at fixing the problems we've had with our garage doors.
