VALUE CITY

The salesman was very professional, helpful and articulate. We talked about what we wanted and he found the right units for us in short time. We paid, and set the delivery schedule for the next week. They called to let us know they were on their way, and got there during the time we expected. The first tower, the TV unit and one of the bookcases with the shelves and light bridge were delivered and put in place quickly. Unfortunately they dropped the second tower and broke off one of the feet, and the second bookcase had a gash in front of it, so we had to reschedule delivery for those two pieces. The next week when they tried to deliver the replacement furniture, the back on the tower was completely loose (falling off), and the screws that were supposed to hold it were stripped. They delivered the other bookcase and took the tower out. I called the manager, assistant manager and what I guess was a customer service manager or something, and no one was there or would call me back. I talked with a young lady and told her that our house had been a mess for two weeks over this and that I wanted satisfaction within 1 - 2 days or I would ship everything back and go elsewhere. Two days later the delivery crew (who was very nice and concerned by the way) delivered the new tower. To date NO ONE from VCF has called to see if we have what we need and the situation is resolved. We are very happy with the furniture but the management responsiveness leaves a lot to be desired. Natalie in customer service however was very nice and sincere while trying to help us.
