TIDWATER DECK & FENCE

They ordered the wrong posts. They put line posts where end posts were supposed to be. I brought this to their attention and was told they would be replaced. However, this has not happened. In addition, they didn't clean up their work area. Gravel from the project was scattered around my yard along with cigarette butts.

The fence was to be built in two days. It took close to a month and a half to complete. I found that the actual employees of the company were more honest and helpful than their boss. He consistently lied to me about the simplest things, like not showing up to work and so forth. As a matter of fact, I'm still waiting for them to put the handle on the gate.

I can't say enough good things about Tidewater Fence & Decking. The crew they sent out was on time and all the work was done when and how it was supposed to be done. I honestly couldn't have ask for more.

It took them a day to do everything needed and when they finished up our fence looked like we had hoped for. It's solid in place and does what we wanted it for. They were a hard working crew and the price for this type of fence was really affordable through them.

They fence was put up in three days, and the crew really knew what they were doing, because it is absolutely level. We were hoping the job would be done well, because vinyl fencing is very expensive. The sales people were also helpful, in assisting with the selection of the fence. We won't have to worry about rust or wood rot with this fence, so it should last for half a century.

This company s craftsmanship was great. They did very good work. The men were on time to do the job. They explained what they were doing, and used a very good quality of material. We haven t had any problems with any of it. We received a ten-year warranty with the work.

It took about three weeks for this job to be completed; they did one phase and let a few days go by before the next. A few support boards warped and the back gate is no longer square so it doesn't fit into the latch. We've called them to come back and fix it and they haven't so far.

It's fair to say the fence was of good quality and the workers were decent in getting it up for me. The weather kept it from being as simple as they would have made it, but I appreciated their work effort anyways. They kept from tearing the yard all up and I liked the look of the fence I chose.

They gave me an estimate and they stayed pretty close to it, however they were very unprofessional. The fence was not done right and was not put on the property line. They gave my neighbor part of my yard. It took them two weeks to complete the job and they left nails everywhere. They made a lot of promises to fix the problems with the fence and never returned my calls. I called the BBB and was told that my only recourse was to sue them.

Once the fence was completed I was extremely happy with the quality and look of it. It did take longer to complete than expected because their work load was probably a little over their head. I will say they do very good fencing and know exactly how to do the work. The results are what mattered the most and they provided that to us. It is a very solid and a perfect fence all around.
