About us
Based out of Chesapeake, Temperature Control Heating & Air Conditioning opened its doors in 1987 in the South Hampton Roads area. Two retired Navy submariners own the company. When your system requires a tune-up or replacement, you will have one of our two owners come to your home. They provide estimates and work with the customer to find the best system that fits your home and budget. Our company policy is to always treat others like we would want to be treated, so with every interaction, we put ourselves in our customer’s shoes. Our technicians are NATE certified, and have the expertise to get things done right the first time. Temperature Control Heating & Air Conditioning is a Trane Comfort Specialist™ dealer. That means that we are committed to ongoing training for our employees, while always providing excellent customer service. Our technicians are also certified to install and repair Mitsubishi mini-ductless systems and tankless water systems.

All happened in a matter of days & during an early heat wave that had them swamped with service calls already. George came back with results of load test and options for us within 48 hours of his first visit with us. He shared insight into the new types of freon, systems, split units, etc with us and was very personable as well.
He informed us that they were informed by Trane that the extended warranty program was changing and trane was going with a 3rd party company. This new extended warranty would cover less and require more out of pocket to the customer than the current extended warranty. I researched the extended warranty change over independently and verified that all that George was telling us was spot on. We had to have the system installed prior to the cut off date for the current extended warranty change over - We literally had about 2 weeks before the change over was to take place - yikes!!!
They were able to get us in and had everything done in one day and 2 days before the extended warranty change over date.
George came out himself with the technicians the day of install. The techs were professional, cleaned up after their work. communicated well, and were knowledgeable.
The system is working well and we know that if anything happens in the next 15 years, we are covered & temp control will be there to help us.
Office staff was great as well ......... friendly, prompt and knowledgeable.
Highly recommended ............ only company on the trane site with 100% positive customer feedback & now I know why. Need more companies out there like this one!
