The work was very low quality. They even forgot to connect some of the ductwork and we had to get them to come back and fix the problems.

We had used them once to work on our water heater previously. We were promised that we would receive a $400 rebate when they did the sales pitch. At then end they found out that the rebate they informed us of was actually for a different air conditioning unit, so it was not one that we were able to use. Other than that, everything worked out okay. We would use them again.

I was promised a high quality installation, but I wouldn't call it high quality. The installation of the units was good but the lack of attention to details added up. I will list some of the things I found: 1. The installation manager who is supposed to check the quality of the installation spent about 5 minutes checking their work. 2. Didn't remove the old linesets (refrig. tubing) or wiring. 3. Existing ductwork was supposedly sealed before the system was even running, so how do they check for leaks? 4. The attempt to seal the existing ductwork was for only 2 or 3 sides of the ductwork (even after a return trip to correct it). I finally did it myself! 5. Lack of attention to their wiring caused the transformer and a zone valve on my boiler to go bad. They did fix this after 2 additional trips. 6. Large gaps in tubing insulation (two 1 inch gaps and one 10 inch gap). 7. Not enough dirt under the A/C unit pad. I can reach my hand underneath of it. System has worked fine since though.

The tech who came out, serviced the unit and I asked if there was enough freon, to which, he said yes. About a month later, we had a very difficult time cooling the house. We called for them to come out again and a different tech came out and said, we did not have enough freon. He asked, who had done the service call before, and we told him and he laughed and said, " Yeah, he really doesn't know how much freon should be in the unit." My question was then, why is he making service calls, were that is included. We already had the service contract and hoped it would be better, but each time they come out to service the HVAC for the season, it takes another visit or two, to get everything working well.

Air Duct Cleaning
Young has been working for us for a couple of years, and if we wanted a thorough job done on the air ducts, a more reputable company should do the cleaning. There were two men to do the job, and they arrived promptly at eight in the morning. It took most of the day, so we know they were doing the best job possible. Many areas were done more than once to assure a complete job. It was noticeable as soon as we used the air conditioner.
