SUPER CLEANERS

I gave the dry cleaners four things to be dry cleaned.  My sleeveless silk dress which had beading work came back damaged.  The damage was in the jewels around the collar/neck area of the dress.  The damage was obvious.  You can see that the jewel was broken and the middle of the dress was more broken up than the side.  It seemed like they press it in heat which cracked the jewels.  I called the owner and was told to sent the dress back and had to wait for a response.  The owner worked in his other store (of the same name) in Virginia Beach.  Two weeks went by with no calls from the cleaner.  I called after two weeks and was notified that they will not claim responsibility for the damage.  They claim that it was written in the back of their pink slip citing "We also disclaim responsibility for trimmings, buckles, beads, belts and sequins."  So I basically paid $14.50 (excluding tax) to have my dress ruined which I wore only once to a recent wedding.

The service was also not up to standard.  The girl behind the counter was sleeping when I dropped off my clothes.  That seem very unprofessional.
