Second Sale Consigments

I stated that I was not happy with the condition of the piece and could not use it because of that, but was told that all sales were final but that the shop would consider buying it back for $60.00. I then walked to my car to consult with my husband and decided that I would take the $60.00 dollars because the piece was in such bad shape, that I would not be able to use it as I had planned. I felt that amount was not fair but at least I would be getting some of my money back. Upon returning inside, I was then told that it was 60% of the sale price, not $60.00. That amount would be a whopping $51.00. I then stated that I felt that was no way to conduct good business and I would not be doing any business with them in the future. I was then asked to take my piece of lawn furniture and to leave the shop, all because of expressing my opinion. I did so in a calm manner, much more so than the shop owner. He was way off in his demeanor and I will as I stated, never do business with him again.
