They took down the back fence with care, got the 3 trees down (like 50+ft each) and the 4th trimmed, they cleaned everything up and were very professional and helpful. 2 guys came back the next day to put the back fence back up for us because a support post got taken out to give them access to the trees. They bought some concrete and a new 4x4 and screws to put the fence back in correctly. They were very sweet and helpful, bunch of very talented teddy bears. Would absolutely recommend and hire them again.

We recently had Scott Lane's Tree service take down four trees. The crew showed up on time and took them down in four hours. They were very knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, safe and they cleaned up afterwards. Very fair pricing. Highly recommend their services.

Thank you to the hard working professionals at Scott Lane's Tree Service for their excellent work on my project. I initially requested estimates from different tree services through "Angi", and received some estimates. Scott Lane's Tree Service was one of the companies that gave me an estimate. We initially discussed the type of work that I wanted done over the phone. A crew member came out, went over all of the details, and gave me a written estimate that day. On the day of the project, a full crew came out and got the work done within a few hours, which included clean-up of all debris. They did a very thorough job on four tall pine trees which were overgrown, growing over the roof, and reaching power lines towards the street behind the house. Two live oaks, which had grown together, were separated, thinned-out, and shaped. A mimosa tree and a mulberry tree were cut back from the house, and from over the driveway. Deadwood was also removed from the two. I highly recommend your company. Thank you again for a great job!

I cannot express how happy I am with this company! The crew started early in the morning, removed two trees and trimmed 2 others. They did a phenomenal job and left my property as clean if not cleaner than when they arrived. Very reasonably priced. Quality work and very nice crew!!!!!! When they showed up to do the job, they went straight to work. Good or not good. I finally heard the equipment working out in yard. I think they should have touched bases with me before they started. But all went OK as it turned out.

Not well. the company did not show up on the contracted date. They did not complete the job contracted. They destroyed a tree that was specifically promised to be preserved in the process of cutting down the trees. They would not return our calls. The secretary would not allow us to contact the owner who signed the contract. The experience was very unsatisfactory, they scammed my mother out of money for incomplete and an overall poorly done job.

While asking for firewood to be delivered from Scott Lane's tree service, we asked for an estimate on a tree in our backyard to be removed while they were at our house. This was in February 2017. We signed the tree removal estimate but said that we would not be ready to have it removed until May 2017, we wanted to budget to have the tree removed. One week later, they came into our yard WITHOUT SCHEDULING WITH US and cut the tree down. This tree is large and tall enough that we would have let our neighbors that it was being done. I called and complained and one receptionist said that our estimate was put in a wrong job pile and that she was sorry. I called back and spoke to another receptionist and she was extremely rude to me and said that we signed the estimate so we have to pay right away. I called the owner who never apologized for their office error. They sent 4 notices for payment and threatened collections. I paid them the $600 in May like I said that I would when we first discussed doing business together. I have had them take down trees in the past- I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Very rude and poor customer service.

As we were fearful that the leaning tree could press even further onto our home we wanted it out quickly. He was able to come out the next day. He had a full crew, did all the work and cleaned everything up. Swept the deck clear. Blew the sawdust into the mulch to make more mulch, every limb and leaf was gone. They put everything back in its place. I can't say enough good things about how professional and efficient they handled everything.

Not well at all. I made an agreement that the process could start in a week or two as I would be out of town. I didn't need to be there, by agreement, so that worked out well-that was on 8/21. On 8/30 the tree came down but the stump remained. I waited until 9/9 and placed my first call to SL Tree Service to see when the stump would be removed-assuming as with other tree contractors this would be a one day and done operation. I was told that other new work had taken a priority and it would probably be next week. Next week came and went so I called SLTS again on 9/16-I was told "we'll get to it next week for sure"-the woman answering the phone replied "Even if I have to do it myself-Mr. Corbett". Next week came and went. I went out of town on 9/20 but before I left I made arrangements to meet with another tree service upon my return on 9/29 to have the stump removed. I got a call on 9/26 from neighbors that work had resumed and the stump had been removed-almost 4 weeks to the day that the tree had been taken down. Never a proactive call from SLTS-always SLTS reacted to calls I initiated-very unprofessional-plans I had for that area of the yard had to be put on hold for one month-for what should have been a one day job. It took them a month for a one day operation so a month from 9/26 they will get my check and the original amount will be reduced to compensate for bad performance

Scott came out and we surveyed the sit together. The tree had many running roots on top of the ground and the main concern was to grind these out as close to the house and fence line, even the ones in my neighbors yard. Scott agreed to everything pointing out every root to clarify the job. The company contacted Miss Utility and they where out April 29th for the tree cutting. I just wanted to tree laid down in sections as I had a friend coming by for the wood. The crew was great and very professional and cut 6' to 8' pieces.They were done and cleaned up in less than an hour.
The stump grinding was slightly more difficult bu nit due to Scott. Had a vacation planned and the rainy weather just was not going to cooperate before we left or when we got back. However they kept in contact with us and finally had the stump taken out June 3rd. There was some confusion with the grinding person HOWEVER Scott's wife handled it quickly and professionally. The company was very easy to work with even though it was sometimes hard to get a hold of them. They did however return calls in an expeditious manner.
Would highly use them again as well as recommend them.

"We do not feel our service was anything but professional. During the time the customer states she waited for two weeks, we did have several days of inclement weather which pushed our schedule behind. We made every effort to do the work as soon as our schedule allowed. The mentioned crew member had a serious hand injury and yes, the tree limb did hit the customers fence. If he had not let go of the rope he could of lost his hand. Accidents, unfortunately do occur and are not predictable. (removed member name) has addressed with our crew as to how they are to represent our company to our customers so I do apologize for the smoking on your property. The customer obtained estimate to repair the fence and we certainly did not want the customer to incur the cost. We did deduct the cost of the repair from the final cost . We do strive to make all our customers satisfied and have a positive experience with our company."

We couldn't be more pleased with the job they did. Arrived this morning with equipment and crew to get the job done in a minimal amount of time. Removed two trees, and major surface roots and grinded the stumps in less than 2 hours. The job site was cleared and cleaned of all debris as promised. While they were here we had two of our neighbors who hired them on the spot to trim a tree for one and grind down stumps for the other. We got three estimates for the job and this was the best price by far. It included everything. At least one of the other estimateswe got was several hundred dollars higher and did not include taking away the debris.
