Very well, more than satisfied.

Very satisfied. Collected estimates from 4 local contractors. All were approximately the same but several seemed to hide too many extras in their footnotes. I went with JMontes, his estimate seemed honest and up front. Actually Jon was the only contractor to climb onto the roof to help gather his details and informed me that a double layer of existing shingles had to be removed. The most difficult decision was the color. Jon recommended a color that I had not considered but I went with it. New roof looks great. Many good comments from the neighbors.

Jon Montes gave a reasonable and competitive estimate for our roof replacement. We had so many leaks, the company was fully booked for several weeks, but Heather and Jon made sure our roof leaks were addressed and fixed until we had the roof replacement. Heather who handles the admin side was outstanding. She was very patient with communicating with my husband in addressing whatever or any issues or concerns we had. The crew did an awesome job. Excellent. Mr. Montes not only gave us a great price but performed the job in a professional and timely fashion. His secretary, Heather did an outstanding and meticulous job with a wonderful demeanor. His site manager stayed in daily contact during the work and kept us informed. They were very reasonable and did not attempt to inflate the price with extras. Although it's only been about a month, we have not had any issues with the new roof. I can honestly say it was a pleasure doing business with Montes roofing and I would not hesitate to refer them or utilize their services again.

Excellent! I would recommend J Montes roofing systems to everyone. They were prompt and efficient. They redecked and roofed my entire house in 8 hours, and cleaned up very well. They were also the lowest priced. I think the best part was when Jon himself showed up to assess the finished job. Customer service at its finest.

They gave me a quote last year and one this year which was about a $4,000 difference.

The worked from sun up to sun down. This is a difficult shingle on a large roof (two full day job). I am amazed at the care and respect they had for my property, no damage to my plants and the cleanup (each day) was 10 out of 10. They transformed my house from old and dowty to new, clean and sharp. I now realize that when you look at a house, about 30% of what you see is the roof.

Very good. From estimates I received, I chose a mid-range price with very good quality materials. One company wanted more than double for a very small quality difference and even the same shingles and underlayment, and a longer labor warrantee only (20 vs. 10 years). Waited just less than a month to start work and that was over the holidays and winter storm. Price was what was estimated with $35 for additional plywood I required, which I believe is also a good price. Work crew was diligent throughout and cleaned up very well both first night and at completion. Finished in a day and a half.

Both times very well. Jon and his team are very responsive. When I doubted or did not fully understand, he and his foreman were more than willing to take the time to assure me and explain exactly what their team was doing. This all happened over the Thanksgiving break. Also because of earlier rain they had to put off the work by a week. Office manager made sure I was aware of and ok with the move. Excellent, very professional, company to work with.

Horrible experience. They scheduled an estimate and claimed they called and nobody answered the doorbell when if fact somebody was at home but actually they never showed up! Wants to reschedule but I'm giving this project to another company.

John and his company did a great job for us at a good price. John came out and measured everything himself and explained what he needed to do. The crew repaired some rotten boards and completed the job in a little over a day and were meticulous in cleaning everything up. I plan to use them again. Very satisfied.

My first appointment was an unfortunate no show. I called and it was discovered my appointment was never saved. They worked to remedy the situation by fitting me in the next day. The tech was on time and professional. Repair completed same day. Their prompt response to the error was a smart business practice. I'd definitely hire them again

Fast response with roof estimate by Mr. Montes himself. No pressure selling. Scheduled a date for the job and actually had the new roofing system installed ahead of schedule due to a cancellation. Quality materials and workmanship. The roofing crew arrived at 7 a.m. and went right to work and about 5 hours later; the job was done.

The job went beautifully. The house was built in the late fifties/early sixties and the builder ran out of 2x6's and substituted with 2x4's. Needless to say the roof started to sag. The J Montes crew corrected all the flaws and finished the job on time.

The entire process was wonderful. they were professional . there were no surprises in the process. they were very responsive and easy to work with . It was very good customer service. The finished product was very good.

Good communication and responsiveness. We got a few quotes from other roofers but the quotes were much higher...i.e. Home Depot, Lowe's and a couple others.

They showed up when promised and the roofers were able to do the job in just over one day. They had to come back the second day for a few hours to finish off. The crew was excellent and they were hard workers that did not waste any time.

Extremely pleased with the work.  Heather coordinated all of the scheduling and was polite and courteous.  Despite all of my detailed questions, they performed the work as planned and on schedule. They started early Friday at 6:30 am as planned and finished on a Sunday around noon for a 5300 square foot home.  The team was extraordinary, hard working, and professional.  There were a few areas where plywood had to be replaced, but they had informed me well in advance so there was no question as to why. They had even taken pictures and sent them so there was no question nor concern.  After all was done I could not find a nail anywhere.  Days after the installation and after  near hurricane winds in our area., my SUV did find a nail probably blown off of the roof, bush,  or from some hidden area  from some crack or crevice which could not be seen previously.  I had informed Jon and Heather on a follow up visit and they responded that they would take care of the flat.  I thought it would be a simple tire plug, but it became a replacement of the tire because the damage was adjacent to the sidewall and would not be allowed and passed by state inspection according to the tire shop.  Jon did not dispute it at all and sent a check to replace the tire. The entire time he always smiled.   I chose this company because they had five star ratings under the Google reviews and without hesitation, I will also give them five stars!  Job well done.  Lastly, I had learned that Jon is a giver to the community.  Jon gives his time and offers donations to the local Lake Taylor Hospital in support of the children who are being taken care of there.  I commend and compliment this successful business owner and his team of conscientious  workers who also has time to give back to the community and exercise their faith in giving. I have other properties and when needed, I plan to use this company, Montes Roofing. I have already given them multiple referrals since then.    Respectfully, Dr. E.

Very impressed. I chose to interview J Montes for the job because of the reviews on Angie' List and the BBB. I received three quotes from different contractors for the roof replacement. J Montes was not the least expensive or the most expensive. I liked that they did not require payment up front. I liked that there would be a Supervisor on site and I believed that they would take care of my property, clean up afterwards, and make all the necessary repairs. It took us several months to be ready for the job to begin. Heather called me every few weeks to see if we had a date yet to begin. She answered all of my questions and if she didn't know the answer, she found out and would call me back in a timely manner. When I was concerned about the look of the roof we chose, she provided me with addresses of recent jobs that we could drive by and see if we liked them. Heather was fantastic in keeping the ball rolling. She is a very important part of the whole machine it takes to keep a business running efficiently. John Powers was the Project Manager. Just like Heather, he was professional, easy to reach when we had a question, made sure the job ran seamlessly. The day the job began weather was looking pretty bleak. I was told they would manage their work so that if storms began they were able to quickly button it all up and come back later in the day or the next morning. The crew was professional as well. When they finished in two days, even with storms, there was no evidence on the property that they were ever there, other than we had an awesome roof. No nails, shingles, trash, Nothing. At every step it took to do our job we never had a worry or an incident that we dealt with. If you are looking for peace of mind, a great experience with a contractor - search no more!
