PAINTER'S PERFECTION

Description of Work: He painted the entire inside of the house. Then my contractor, near the completion of the house, said the painters would leave the extra paint for me. Although she said she didn't know what I would do with the paint because the painters left the paint in the cold and it changed the color of the paint. Several of the walls were streaked and splotchy. I complained to the state about the general contractor and the state told me that I had to call the painter back and give them a chance to fix it. I told the state that the said they would use the old paint, which would compound the problem. The state said, "How do you know unless they try?" So the painters came out and "touched up" with the old paint. They repainted an entire wall, which eliminated the splotchiness, but then that wall didn't match the others. The ceiling is drywall and it had a crack in it which had to be patched, which meant that it had to be repainted, which meant the paint didn't match.
