I am in there all the time, I use them for all my vehicles for routine vehicle maintenance. They do great work and good customer service.

Merchant's Tire personnel have always been professional, timely and friendly, I purchased tires and was very satisfied with everything, including the price.

I had run over an object in my 2011 Subaru Forester that destroyed the original tires on the car. The tires had only 30K miles on them w/plenty of tread life remaining. Since the Subaru is an all-wheel drive vehicle, the tire tread must remain practically the same on all tires, give or take a few thousand miles. I had purchased 4 new Michelin Defenders from Merchant's but declined the road hazard warranty. I've always purchased these in the past as an insurance policy but never used it. Lo and behold, w/in 3K miles, I hit a large piece of metal that destroyed one tire. Despite not having the warranty and perhaps that I've been a loyal customer, I wasn't charged for the new tire! It's gestures such as these that keep people coming back as repeat customers. Melissa, Brandon, Steven, the whole bunch are courteous and professional. Highly recommend!

We have been using them for at least 10 years. They are very friendly and have quick turn around with their service. We always get an itemized bill, so we know what we are paying for. We trust them and never feel like we are getting cheated.

I ordered two tires through TireRack.com and had them shipped to Merchant Tire on Cedar Rd. The tires were to be installed on the front to replace a damaged left front tire. When I went in to pick up the car, I noted that they installed the tires on the rear and did not replace the damaged tire. They were very apologetic and said they would correct it and I could pick up the car later that day. They had already thrown out the other two tires so they had to get two more new tire, which they covered at their expense. Bad part was that we were out the car for another week while they ordered two more tires. In the end they made everything right and were very professional.

I have been using Merchant Tire for a couple years now and have had 3 different vehicles there for service. Always very professional and upfront. As with anything, it would be good to see the price a little lower, but I also understand the they must cover their cost. Additionally, they are one the few shop that is open until 9pm weeknights and open on Saturday. I this instance, I was preparing to go out of town when my wife informed me of a vibration in her car. I call Merchant at 5:30pm and they were able to get me in at 6pm. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were able to get the part and make the repair that evening. Returned the car to me before 9pm. No many places have that kind of service.

They are very efficient. I've found them to be easy to work with. They are concerned about the customer.

I recently had a horrible experience with this place. I've used them for several years and have been pretty satisfied with their service but after this experience, I have decided I need to find a new place to service my car. I brought it in for some clunking noise that was coming from the rear of my car. They called me with what I needed to have done...four new shocks and also noted that my front breaks were "below specification" and should be changed so I told them to do this even though I was not having a problem and I have always trusted their assessments. I also had an oil change at my request. I went to pick up the car the next day and after paying the $988.00 bill, pulled out of the parking lot and hit a bump and heard the same clunking that was there before. I went up to the next stop light to make a u turn and bring the car back and my breaks barely worked. I had to push the pedal all the way to the floor to get the car to stop. This really freaked me out. I drove back to Merchants and told the manager that the clunking was still there and the breaks were very soft. They kept the car over night and called me the next day to tell me I also needed new calipers. I told the manager that when I brought that car in, the breaks were working fine...why all of a sudden was there a problem? In addition, they just inspected the car in June and the breaks passed. The guy I talked to told me that if they were really busy, they might let something like that go. Really??? The shop put on new calipers at no cost to me. In addition, they diagnosed the clunking as a spring in the left rear....an additional cost of $1200.00 to repair. Because they could not locate the part, they could not do the repair at this time. I found this part online for my specific vehicle and it costs $314.00...that would be over $800.00 they want to charge for labor. Needless to say, they are not getting another penny out of me. I don't know what has happened to this place...it used to be pretty good. But their service is terrible. And if you have your breaks done there, take a test drive around the parking lot before you go onto a busy highway. Stay away.

We rely on them for our tire service and we've always felt that they were fair.

Manager, Eric, gave me the best sale price then gave me additional discount for remaining tread left on old tires. Was fair and gave me satisfaction without a hassle. Tires were replaced in less than an hour. We did have to order them since the tires weren't in stock.
