Before Charlene, I had listed my house with a realtor that was recommended by friends. That was the first mistake. I didn't research that individual, and soon thereafter, I realized I had made a huge mistake on letting him list my house. He priced my house way to high for the market and although it shown well, the price was not in competition with the foreclosures in the neighborhood. That in itself, didn't make him a bad agent, he just didn't seem to know what he was doing, nor did he seem like he cared. When a "showing" was to take place, I was often told within an hour that people wanted to see it. Often when I called him, I'd have to wait some time for him to call me back...I'm writing this, so perhaps you can understand the tremendous amount of stress I was put through in the four months he was my agent. ...Now about Charlene...what can I say?!! After going through all the stress with the previous agent, she was a breath of fresh air! This time I didn't listen to friends advice and did some research on my own. I eventually found the Hampton Roads Realtors Association's website. On there it lists the top realtor agents. Charlene consistently appears from year to year. She presents herself in a professional, friendly way, and is no way intimating. Any stress I may have had from the previous agent, i did not have with Charlene. It seemed like the ink wasn't even dried on the contract and already I had showings scheduled. She kept me informed of each and every one, and often told me about them a day or so ahead of time. Any questions I may have had were soon answered, as she made herself available to me anytime I had one. Honestly, I can't say enough about her. She sold my house in about two weeks and kept me informed all through the process. Even after the sale, she called and reminded me to cancel the homeowners insurance. She was a real pleasure to deal with and I'd recommend her to anyone in a heart beat. Thank you so very much Charlene! I wish you continued success. Best Regards, Diana A.
