I am new to the area and needed the kitchen updated. After a big box estimate, Costco cabinet estimate I decided to go with this local company. I am so glad I did. MCCoy was excellent to work with, knowledgable, took time to listen to what I wanted and delivered. My Decora cabinets are just great. All of the subs that work with Kitchen Concepts are excellent. They made the open shelves I wanted and even got me the Not so Lazy Susan for the corner cabinet. I recommend this company for your kitchen work!

We were very pleased with our experience working with Tommy at Kitchen Concepts. Tommy was recommended by our contractor when we made the decision to remodel our kitchen. We met with Tommy at the showroom and he was very helpful in helping us select possible countertop materials and colors. He helped us match several possibilities and by the next day he had emailed us the estimates for each product. We made our choice and Tommy promptly set up an appointment to have a template made. The crew that came in with Tommy were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They worked with us to include certain features on the corners, seams and countertop extensions. Tommy worked with my contractor to get the countertop installed. They came on time and did a good job installing the countertop. Tommy kept in contact with us during the entire process to make sure things were done to our satisfaction. We enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend him.

Kitchen Concepts (KC) was recommended to us by a local custom cabinet maker who said he would be happy to help create whatever we wanted but advised us to check there first as he was quite confident we would find what we were looking for.  We were on the road at the time and immediately called to set up an appointment.  My husband and I walked in and were greeted by McCoy Williamson and the rest shall we say, is history!  We are SO pleased with our cabinets and really enjoyed working with McCoy.  We walked in not knowing at all what we wanted or how to go about making it happen.  McCoy patiently listened, made suggestions and worked with us for weeks to help create a plan and select cabinets and counter tops for our new kitchen. Our kitchen remodel was "forced" due to an insurance claim so we were somewhat limited as to price and layout of the kitchen. McCoy worked with us to make tweaks to create a more efficient layout while still allowing us to remain within budget.  Had we had unlimited funds and space I can only imagine what we could have come up with together!
We ended up going with our own fabricator for the granite counter tops strictly because of price and while we are very happy with them, wished we would have gone with McCoy instead.  The hassle and leg work required to find our own was not worth saving what amounted to just a couple hundred dollars.  KC hired and managed a company to Install the cabinets, they were friendly, professional and did an amazing job.  I will submit a separate review for them.
During the now more than 5 month remodel of practically our entire home, we are still being faced with many delays and set backs from other contractors but never with Kitchen Concepts.  From tear out of old to installation of new, we were always kept informed of appointments, delivery and installation dates. They kept and were on time for all.  Because of them, we were able to move back into our house before Christmas with beautiful and complete kitchen cabinets!  
We would not hesitate to hire KC for an ENTIRE kitchen remodel.  McCoy is talented, knowledgeable, trustworthy, patient, professional and very pleasant to work with. He was always available and willing to give advise and opinions even regarding matters that did not benefit him, for this and more, we are most appreciative.  We are pleased to provide our highest recommendation to Kitchen Concepts, (McCoy, Tommy and Ruby) and are confident that you will be happy too!

We had a great experience with McCoy.  He spent time reviewing and recommending different options regarding range hoods, cabinet modifications and islands.  He was very patient with our every changing mindset regarding our kitchen upgrades.  In the end his professionalism, kind demeanor and willingness to meet our needs sealed the deal for us.  He was also very competitive with Home Depot and Lowe's.  In fact, he undercut both big box stores on value and price.  I would definitely hire again for any kitchen or bath remodel.

I am delighted with my redone kitchen, and feel that Kitchen Concepts did a good job helping me design and then find my cabinets. McCoy Williamson found what I thought I wanted, and when the descriptions of those cabinets led me to the discovery that I wanted something different, he patiently searched until I was satisfied. I wanted a special stand-alone cabinet with a bookcase for my cookbooks, which took him some effort to find, and he crafted a pull-out pantry, like one I had seen, to help make maximum use of the space in my small kitchen. I was able to visit the granite fabricators which Kitchen Concepts works with, in Richmond, and choose the slab of granite for my countertops. McCoy was always quick to respond to my calls or e-mails, and if he wasn’t available, Tommy searched out answers for my questions. McCoy came twice to measure and then recheck the specifications for my cabinets, and he and Tommy came themselves to do the tear-out.   The cabinet installation was subcontracted, but McCoy came to get the installer off to a good start and returned himself two days later to complete the installation and tweak a couple of errors made by the installer.   He was very conscientious about having the finished product be up to the high standards of Kitchen Concepts. The granite installers did a great job, were very professional and left me with beautiful contertops. All the work was done on schedule, the workers were pleasant to have around and did a good job cleaning up.  My kitchen looks bigger and so much better, all my friends and family who have seen it have been impressed, and I am really enjoying the storage options in my new cabinets.  I would recommend Kitchen Concepts to anyone who is redoing their kitchen.

We really couldn't have asked for a smoother running renovation. In a months time we went from our old kitchen that was blah and out dated to one we can be proud of that enhances our lifestyle.

They accomplished the tear out in one day (with minimal mess) and shortly thereafter began installing the new drywall. The talented plasterer was able to match the swirl pattern on our existing walls/ceilings. Next came the electrician to wire for the new lighting (love the recessed lighting and undercabinet lights!). The painters came in to add color to the walls. Then they took a week break while we had new tile laid throughout the area. Right on time Kitchen Concepts arrived with the new cabinets. They were installed in a days time! The following day the representative arrived from the company that was supplying our Cambria countertops to take measurements. Painting continued. New appliances were installed. Countertops arrived and were installed with precision. The water was hooked up to the sink and new disposal installed. Final paint touch ups and the project was finished!

The whole time McCoy was checking in with us to make sure we were well informed and satisfied. We couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. We would whole heartedly recommend McCoy and his crew to anyone we know. In fact, we hope to use them again to remodel our upstairs bathrooms!

It went great!  I had a very short time line in order to complete this in time for Thanksgiving since it was to be a surprise for my husband who was working out of town.  McCoy worked with me every step of the way to help me accomplish my goals. 

He was an advisor on design decisions and worked tirelessly to make sure everything turned out beautifully.

I have never worked with a company that treated their clients as nicely as this company. There are two owners, Tommy Reich and McCoy Williamson, I worked mostly with Tommy, however, if he was not there and I needed a question answered McCoy would quickly come to the rescue! They were there for my every need and if they couldn't answer a question for me, they would call me back with an answer. They kept me apprised of everything that was going on, if a certain cabinet was not available they let me know right away so we could make an adjustment, they let me know the delivery time of the cabinets and set up a time to install that was convenient for us. There are not enough words to express how wonderful our experience was with this company, and if I plan in the future to redo my bathrooms, they will be the first people I call. And now I have an incredibly beautiful kitchen, with more cabinets that I can fill!!! They did an absolutely beautiful job, I just love it!
