This provider is awesome! They stripped my roof of all old material and disposed of it without leaving behind a mess. They installed everything professionally and quickly without sacrificing quality of work. I got a lot for my money; felt, architectural shingles, drip edge, new vents, and new pipe collars. They also replaced any plywood that needed it. The installation crew all worked directly for Miles Roofing, not subcontracted workers like most other companies that gave me a bid.
I would highly recommend this roofer to anyone who wants professional results at a reasonable price.

Miles Roofing has done an outstanding job for me over the years. I’ve heard nothing but great feedback from my neighbors for how good the new roof looks. Miles was able to put on the whole roof in one day and left no mess whatsoever. I had a GAF 25 year warranty roof put on. After a month of having the roof put on, they even sent out a supervisor to take a look for any leaks or problems with the roof and he was unable to find any. They were very punctual and the price to complete the roof was about $1000 less than most companies and even sometimes $3000 less than others. I would recommend them to anyone.

The Contractor installed new gutters, but of the incorrect color. The team just showed up without notice. The Contractor did replace the incorrect gutters with new gutters of the correct color.
The installation team did a great job, cannot say enough good words. We gave the Contractor a and quot;Band quot; in responsiveness due to poor communications. However, we would recommend the company and are pleased with the work. The new, larger gutters (in certain areas) work very well during heavy rains.

Their service was outstanding. They are the best no matter what they do. Their prices are higher than the average company, but you get what you pay for. Their products are all top grade. It was well worth the price. The work looks great and we were pleased with the service. It was exactly what my wife wanted. The quality of their work was excellent and I was very happy with them. They were prompt, friendly, and easy to deal with.

Although the work was completed timely and "looked" ok, we had significant issues with leftover debris across the yard and driveway, resulting in a flat tire from a roofing nail. 
Most problematic, was the way in which the shingles were applied in the valleys.  The roof was put on in 2006, and we had a major leak in 2012.  Upon calling Miles to look at the leak, they said it would not be covered under any warranty, and that the upper 1/3 needed to be reshingled at a cost of nearly 1,500. 
I obtained a second opinion from a seasoned roofing specialist, who took one look at the roof and diagnosed the issue.  the manner in which the valleys were trimmed was incorrect and allowed debris to flow under the shingles.  Water then went further under the shingles and down into the attic and bedroom ceiling.
He was able to fix ALL the valleys by correctly trimming them, which fixed the leak, at a cost of only $200.  The leak was fixed and has been good ever since.

I highly recommend them, it went extremely well. From the owners down to the roofers themselves, they were superb.

The guys were excellent. Anything that I wanted, they did. I would rate them an A.

Contacted this company on Friday about problem. Monday morning received a call from contractor to schedule a time to come out. The gentleman came out just as he said he would, right on time. We showed him the problem and he went right to work. He had to crawl in a hot attic and up on a hot roof. He found the problem, explained and repaired. This company representative was very professional and very polite. This will be the company we will call for any future roofing problems.

They're just amazing; they take pictures, update you on the progress of the roof, and really go above and beyond. I know they're licensed, insured and bonded. They're very prompt and dependable. I'm so happy with their services and I would highly recommend them to others.

Meeting with representative good, dealing with workers BAD. Left a terrible mess in our attic, the A/C guy had to clean his way to service the A/C unit. NON ENGLISH speaking workers made interaction very difficult.

Called and told them that I had some leaks in the bathroom ceiling. Their estimator came and went on the roof and in the attic and decided that it was probably the collar vents.The estimator was here about 45 minutes. He sent me an estimate and I accepted the proposal at the price discussed. The work has been completed and until it rains I cannot tell if the leaks are fixed. Hopefullyl, this corrects my problem.

The company has a good reputation, but the employee who came to give the quote was unprofessional and did not follow up or return phone calls. He dropped the ball.

Although they responded quickly to provide the estimate, we had some problems scheduling the repair because of the snow in December - but as soon as they were able, and the snow on the roof had melted, they repaired the roof. They were so neat about it that my husband and I called to find out when they would be able to make the repair only to find out that it was done!

They're excellent, as my family has been using them for years and years. They may not be the lowest price in town, but you get a good service and a good roof.

We were very pleased with their work. They were to be there while we were there to put the roof on, because we do not normally live there. They put the roof on right away, but they gutters had taken some time. They still had done a good job though. I would be happy to recommend them.

I noticed a water pocket on the ceiling after a bad storm. A few weeks later the drywall where the water had sat fell in. I immediately turned to Angies list in search of a contractor due to more rain in the forecast. JD Miles immediately informed me that they were available to place a tarp on the home to protect the inside while the rain subsided. Although, the precaution wasn't utilized (by my own choice) it was great to know they weren't going to leave me hanging. Sure enough they stopped by one day to give me an estimate. The crazy thing is my home is in York County (Williamsburg address though) and they were able to get to me faster than roofing companies in Hampton, Newport News and York County. A few days later they sent two guys to complete the job. They were able to do all the work in one day and it hasn't rained in the house since. Very reassuring staff and they follow through on their promise. I hope to work with them again in the future for a sunroom and not a leaky roof!

I've used them for years and so has my Mom. They are very good. They are very capable, honest and fair. They show up on time and get the job done. Their price is about average. I could have gotten cheaper, but the work wouldn't have been as good. The next time I need a new roof, they will be the ones that I call.

Quote and contract process were clear and thorough. Installation and cleanup were flawless. Inspected later by GAF tech who commented that we were lucky we had one of the best roofers in the area. Price was the lowest for matched quality/construction and insured operations and staff.

This company was the highest in cost compared to two other companies. They were recommended by a friend, so I knew they offered quality work. The company was very thorough in their process of giving me an estimate as it took 1 hour. They gave me a written estimate on the same day. In the estimate, they offered a 5 year guarantee of their workmanship. I opted not to use them based on their high cost.

We called Miles Roofing, Inc. on Friday July 20, they set up an appointment for the afternoon of Monday July 23 at 3:30 to look at and give us an estimate for repairs to our roof. John called at 2:00 to say that he was already in the neighborhood and ahead of schedule and was it ok to come by early, I said that it was ok, John arrived at about 2:30 and inspected the roof both inside and out and determined that the leak was from the loose shingles mentioned above. He offered to caulk the shingles and the other areas mentioned above, we accepted his offer, after completing his work he said no charge, we tried to give him some money but he refused. You can bet that if we ever need roofing work again we will be calling Miles Roofing Inc.
