Really difficult to work with. Unresponsive. When issues arose, home depot refused to speak with us on the phone, would put us on hold for hours. Had to go in person and then they would tell us that there was no one who could help with our concerns. For the kitchen, had us working with 4 different subcontractors and never explained the timeline or who would be doing what, so it took over 2 months to get the work completed. The home depot employees were judgment and condescending. I will never work with them again for any kind of renvoation.

From 31 Jan 17 -3 Feb-17 I had $23000 worth of new windows and doors installed through home depot. The installers were very polite and professional and for the most part did a great job. On May 5th, I get a frantic call from my wife stating there is a waterfall coming through one of the windows in my dining room. You will see in the video attached that the water was literally just flooding in. When I talked to home Depot that morning, the lady initially told me that they would not be able to get anyone to my house until the following day. I obviously lost my mind and told her that was unacceptable and had to have someone come out today to fix my brand new windows. The installation manager came to my house that afternoon and when I tried to show him the video of what happened he wouldn’t even look at it. He went outside and told me the problem wasn’t from the installation but was from the lack of caulking on the decorative piece above my window. I laughed at him and told him that I have not had any water leaking issues until after the new windows were installed. They came back on 8 May with Heather from Home Depot and they asked to use my hose to try and replicate it. I told them sure but this water was obviously pooling inside the window since they installed it. They were not able to replicate it and said that their third part insurance company would call to set up a time to have an inspector come to my house. At this time is when we noticed all 4 windows on the front of my house had water damage around the window and cracks in the seal of two of them where it was broke on installation. This insurance company tells me on 16 May that they are not going to send anyone out until they know the windows have been fixed. After talking to them, I called Heather back and she said I don’t know how they expect us to fix them if we cannot replicate it. I said I don’t care if you have to replace all 4 windows in order to get this right. I have major water damage all over the drywall encasing all 4 windows and the hard wood floors in my dining room were saturated by the time we woke up and were able to put towels down. It took 5 large bath towels to soak up most of the water. Here it is 3 weeks later and I have no answers on what Home Depot is going to do to fix my problem. I talked to my insurance company just to make sure they had all of this in their notes and on file but I will not pay the deductible and the raised insurance premiums due to Home Depot not following through with their installation and LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!! I have pictures and video of everything.

Help with a bed support, they found my answer. Special cleaning supplies. Help with pest control, I have dog and cat, so caution and safety very important. I didn't just buy and quot;somethingand quot; off shelf not knowing the dangers. I did not buy what I was going to get. For my concerns, I went home with products I knew how to use and much safer then products I would have purchased.

Home Depot were quick to come up and give us an estimate, and then scheduling was easy and we didn't have to wait long time and they finished the job when they were supposed to. I think it was all fine with Home Depot.

Went very smooth and very satisfied with my purchases of a washer, dryer and a fridge. I almost over spent untill shown a better deal. Thank you.

Very pleased with the total experience. They recognized an error on the sales order before they came out and fixed it. (The wrong type of hoses were ordered by the salesperson). They arrived on time and quickly removed the old units. They checked the floor to make sure there was no damage. We have a small space and the doors would not open and the installed recommended that we switch the unit locations in the room. They put the washer where the dryer was and the dryer where the washer was. They added hoses at no charge, and now we can easily open the doors.

2 years ago I went on homedepot.com to look for a teak table that were only available online. I found one for about $900. They delivered it with no problems. I didn't use it much that summer, as it was near the end, and when we went to use it the next summer we found that slats of teak were coming out. When I called them they at first told me they couldn't do anything because it was over the warranty period. I told them it was last in the year when I bought it and had not had a chance to use it until this year. I explained the situation to customer service and management. They went back and forth and finally decided to offer me a $300 store credit. They did not use good teak. It should have been kiln dried teak or it will not hold up. The biggest problem I have with Home Depot is that they don't have good customer service. They don't have anybody greet you at the door, they don't have anyone around to help you find stuff, they just point you in a direction like "go to 18 B"

We went to the Home Depot located at 2121 Old Taylor Road, Chesapeake, VA and again was treated rudely by the check-out staff and for the last time. On this occasion we were interested in purchasing some items listed on a sales flyer that we received in the mail yesterday. Our intent in going there was to purchase some odds and ends for a Memorial Day Weekend back yard project (screws, gas barbeque..etc). When we asked about a military discount (which Home Depot has offered for some time), the person checking us out became obnoxious and curtly sent us to the customer service. We didn't mind the new requirement to register our name and phone number to receive the discount but the sales person's delivery was caustic. When then went to the customer service and was met with another dogmatic attitudeand hellip;so bad in fact we excused ourselves and left the store without making a purchase. We have never encountered such blazingly bad attitudes in any other Home Depot's in the Tidewater area but there is something wrong going on in that store.

I called to set up an in home estimate but couldn't get off hold. AFTER 20 MINUTES AND TWO PEOPLE WHO "DIDN'T KNOW" BECAUSE IT WAS THEIR JOB! I just gave up in frustration.

Horrible. I ordered online and waited for the delivery for on November 16. The washer/dryer arrived without a stack kit. The drivers had to return the item. It arrived again on December 20 which is a whole month later? Odd isnt it? The installers came in and hooked up everything. When they left the hose was leaking and they could not send someone over to fix it until Jan 3? I'm never going to use Home Depot again for anything.

Home Depot did a very good job and it was about within my budget. They were very professional and they called when the door came in. It did take about 2 weeks for the door to come in but they called about it. I was worried about having a big box store doing a project but they did it in a timely manner.

The carpet is good carpet and I like it but I am not actually happy with the installation. It is not as smooth as I think it should be for wall to wall. There are little ripples. By the time I noticed it they said it was passed the time they would fix it without charging me. I wouldn't recommend them. I don't remember having any issues when the installation was done. I have spilled stuff on the carpet and it has come right up.

The installing crew arrived on time, did an excellent job, and did it quickly. The carpet was well installed, they were tidy, they cleaned up after the job was done, and they answered any questions I had. It was good enough that I would like to have bought a better grade of carpet.

The central installation facility was difficult to use. It required four phone calls and two trips to the store to resolve errors in installation planning.

THEY BUILT AND INSTALLED THE FRAMES AND DOORS AND EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

We had to wait forever for a person to get our door installed because the people that they hire are from out of this area. I don't really hate Home Depot for that, but I think they should inform people of that ahead of time. I really wish that they had told me that so I would have known the reason.

The carpeting that they put in was done perfectly. It feels like you are walking on clouds when you walk over it with out shoes. The carpet we had picked out was high quality carpet and that is why it cost me so much to have it put in. They were actually cheaper than the price we got from other companies that we had talked to. I do feel that no company is a straight A company as there is no perfect company that I know of.

The guys that came out were friendly. They worked well and didn't have any trouble with the install. We had the deck custom built to fit this hot tub. It only took them about a little over an hour to install it. They didn't leave any mess or anything.

The lady at the service department computerized and drafted the design of the cabinets to fit my kitchen, and we did this together. Home Depot sent out a man to our home to re-measure to make sure the calculations were correct. The cabinets ended up perfect.

They were excellent to deal with. They did a good job of installing our carpet and it looked great. They had high quality carpet and good choices to choose from. They showed up and finished when they said that they would. They took care of everything as they moved all of our beds and furniture for us and didn't damage anything in the process.

They came out right when we contacted them. When we were in the store they explained the different options that we had. The new hot water heater worked great. I was not sure of the price because the man of the house took care of that.
