FANTASTIC! Great, timely, and honest service every step of the way. GBM has always given quotes in advance, been pro-active in service, and let us know very sensibly how and what was needed, what was desirable, and what was a waste of time and money. They have done pre-roadtrip checks for us, state inspections, regular maintenance, arranged for towing, and even arranged to sell our beloved mini-van when she finally (after many many years and miles of use) was ready to go out to pasture. To paraphrase Spinal Tap - these guys go to eleven. My highest rating, and hearfelt, unreserved recommendation.

A long time ago I bought one of their card with different coupons on it and so I got a lot of discounts. So these guys always look out for me and honestly they treat you like family there with every respect. They are very honest and have very fair prices. I've been going to them for many years. Their honesty stands out, I feel like if I take my car in that they are not going to tell me that there's a problem when it doesn't exist. Jimmy in particular is excellent. He is the person I've dealt with the most over the years and he's just a super nice guy.

EXCELLENT Service! We have been using Great Bridge Muffler and Brake since moving to Chesapeake 8 years ago.
I usually forgo the "free" oil change at the dealer because I got tired of being pressured to purchase services that I did not need. The auto dealer tried to charge me $150 to replace the power steering fluid in my car. When I took it for a second opinion at Great Bridge Muffler, they told me that my car does not use power steering fluid.
They are extremely honest and easy to work with.

They're really good. They always do what they said they were going to do. They don't charge you and don't do things that you don't need done.I just really feel very comfortable with them.

Dropped the vehicle in the morning. Service tech investigated the system and called with cost estimate prior to any work being done. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Had the vehicle back that afternoon. Tech was helpful and informative.

Oil changes every three months, annual inspections, tire rotations and any and all other repairs I have needed on my 99 Nissan and my 84 Ford Truck. Referred me to another source for door repairs on my (very old but serviceable) truck and I was pleased with that individual's work as well.

Took the car in for muffler work. It had been sounding very loud and vibrated at higher rpms. Called on Friday, dropped the car off that evening, and the work was done the next morning (I also added an oil change). I was impressed that on the phone, when asked about turnaround time, he let me know it was dependent upon if the part was in the shop or not. He did everything he said he would at the quoted price. I feel I received a fair price and great treatment. He did not try to "upsell" me; and believe me, since my car is a 2000 with 130,000 miles, that happens a lot! Definitely recommend.

I found Great Bridge Muffler and Brakes in The Shepherd's Guide and from this publication thought they should be trustworthy. My exhaust starting rattling and when I would accelerate my vehicle would die. Needed to replace the cadillac converter. My exhaust system is a welded system and both sides were replaced. Also had my vehicle inspected, oil change and air filter change. The work was performed in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable. Jimmy understood my need for transportation and accelerated my work order. I dropped it off that evening and it was ready for me to pick up by noon the next day. They were great! I have since returned with another vehicle for a brake job. Same experience. it's great to have a safe automobile mechanic to go to.

The manager, Jimmy, is extremely professional. He explains things to me very well. I never feel like he takes advantage of me. They are a great place to go for having any kind of service done to your car.
