GLI Construction

It took over a month of phone calls for them to even call me back to set up an appointment! The appointment was not to do the work, but to assess how much more that I would have to pay! After the person from GLI Contracting came to my house, he told me that the prep work only covered the blue taping and that any hole patching would not be part of the deal. Also, we would have to supply the ground cloths but he would honor my Groupon and I had an appointment set up for the following morning. After he left, another representative from GLI called that afternoon and said that they would only honor my Groupon to do 3 10x10 rooms (what I paid for). I do not have any 10x10 rooms and thought that it would be okay based on correspondence that they had given another person in my position. Many people had asked on the Groupon site how they would handle situations for people that didn't have 10x10' rooms. I sent a copy of part of the "question section" for this Groupon that was answered by someone at GLI which said that if the area was the same as 3 10'x10' rooms (or 1,200 SF) that they would honor it. I have a FROG room that I wanted painted and they said that it was bigger than 10x10 so they would have to charge me more. I replied that the area was not bigger than 1200 SF and that they had told people that they would honor that size for the Groupon (see response from SusanCrabb at this link: http://www.groupon.com/deals/gli-contracting/discussion?campaign_id=gli-contracting&page=6) but they said that they would not. This was the worst Groupon experience I have ever had! They said that they would refund me the value of the Groupon (which they did).
