Eli's Chimney Guys

I hired a guy a year ago to redo my chimney cap but he never showed back up or returned a call. So this year a squirrel fell in the chimney and I started researching this topic again. Many quotes were much higher but I found a couple for about $500. Eli offers resurfacing as an option so I scheduled one of the guys to come out.

Well Tuesday came and went with no call/no show. Thursday around lunch, Eli called saying he wrote me down for 8am that morning. As it was lunch time, I assumed he couldn't make it. But I'll call that 1 foul up. We rescheduled for the following Tuesday 8-10 am. Around 10, he called to say he was running late. He came around 11. Resurfacing means they paint some rubber gel stuff around it. It has a 5 yr warranty so we will see if that holds. No cleanup at all. The rubber was splashed everywhere. When my husband saw it all over his grill he freaked. It's all over the patio as well. Eli is very nice and polite, but it is the cheapest so you get what you pay for. If using this company, move everything and put drop cloths down before they arrive.

I had another company quote repairs to my chimney some time ago.They wanted to put in a stainless steal or replace the flue.
the Recently I was researching an alternate method and found Eli's site. He was using a system called FireGuard. I researched this and found good results. I contacted Eli, he came and explained the process and told me he had great results.
When he arrive his team was very professional, neat and cleaned up after the job. I was shown the finished job. The inside of the chimney is free of cracks and I paid a lot less than the other methods. This system exceeds all I.R.C and N.F.P.A -211 requirements
