My husband and I started searching for a new veterinarian after the prices at our former one started to quickly escalate. After carefully reviewing, calling and comparing different vets in the area, we decided to give Dominion a try.
Dominion is fairly priced. They do not try to pressure me to buy additional or expensive medications. On my first phone call with Dominion, they even pointed out (respectfully) that the medications (heartworm/flea/tick) another vet had recommended me could be better managed and, in the end, save me more money.
The veterinarians are very knowledgeable, confident and reassuring. Earlier this year, my husband took our pet for an initial appointment to investigate a growth on his paw. I was at work and cried when my husband explained to me what it could be. The doctor then got on the phone and patiently explained what the growth could be and our different options. She reassured me and I felt confident that my dog was in good hands. We decided to go through with the surgery on his paw and they were able to perform the surgery the same day as his initial appointment. When I got home from work, my dog was up and walking around with a clean, cute bandage on his paw. It healed great. I was very happy with the surgery.
The office is clean and I can sit down on wooden benches without getting dog hair all over me. The staff behind the desk are enthusiastic, caring and knowledgeable. They even took the time to help me answer questions I had for my pet's insurance claim form.
They also offer bathing services, which we take advantage of. I trust them with trimming my mixed Chessie's nails, ear cleanings and anal gland expressions.
Overall, I feel that Dominion sincerely enjoys working with their patients and are not in business to just take my money. I love my dog and it is nice to trust my vet, their intentions and the care they provide.

I really like this office. They were friendly and helpful. They didn't try to sell me anything extra or convince to buy expensive dog food or treatments my dog doesn't really need.

I really like everyone at this office. They were all very nice and friendly. They seem to really love animals. No one tried to sell me anything extra or con me into getting special food. That is a big plus in my opinion. I would recommend this office to everyone.

They are very good. They take good care of pets. They can also board your pets for a while and clean them.
