Home Building
The general contractor is a woman. She told me that I am "bi-polar and off my meds". She told my husband he "couldn't add". (My husband is an engineer and has been for about 50 years.) She stated the price to paint the house would be $10,000 and later denied it. She refused to itemize our bill. She said, "General Motors doesn't itemize and we don't have to either." They were supposed to be finished in one year, but it's been over two and most of the problems are still being corrected. Everything on the outside of the house was supposed to be maintenance-free and the deck is already coming up, warping, etc.
