Salesman Steve was very courteous and it appeared we might hire Dan Dale Fencing until he gave us a quote of $7,500 (with a measly $600 discount). This quote was $3,700 higher than the highest quote we had already received. No wonder this company does not have an A rating. We have decided to abandon this project until a later date.

company did not come out and look at job..had me take pictures to send to them..forwarded pictures and never heard from them again.

Never obtained city permits as of 7/1/2018 that were listed on original contract and stated would be done by 6/30/18 when still had not done this Original install date started in September 2017 with on-going warranty repairs; although, not original agreed start date (reported back-ups due to weather pushed back date) Used 6x4 post that they cut down to a 4x4 (in ground but not above so we did not know till it was replaced) so could not hold weight of FIRST front gate installed Back gate has fell off twice with post pulled from garage after FIRST and SECOND gate was done Fence is still not straight or level Nails still stick out through wood exposing sharp ends Gates and handles still not level Drilled through concrete at wrong spot so had to redo Used nails that rusted and had to be replaced Each "best guy working for me" have either been fired or quit (and we went through 3 of the supervisors alone) No shows at least three times for warranty repairs Cracked/chipped and warped wood used Pickets unaligned and not hung close together especially on gates No company email address on website or provided to us. All communications are done via text or phone calls Will not refund money. Left nails, cigarette butts and empty bottles on property (recently got two nails in my new car's rear tire) Jordan responds normally within 24 hours by text messages, but not as quick to make things actually happen Majority of pictures attached are still how fence looks and last TWO repairs were done by Jordan (owner) and another employee But all this is nitpicking according to Jordan Stockdale, the owner of the company. Pictures attached cannot even begin to show how frustrating and time consuming this process has been and is still unresolved. I would have attached more as I have so many more, but there is a limit. I judged the price as unfair as the quality of the fence we are left with does not equal what we paid.

The finished product exceeds my expectations -- a lovely metal fence yielding a real increase in the appearance and likely value of my property. There were a few miscommunications at the outset (I really wanted to review the warranty before I paid for materials and set the ball in motion as I live at the bayfront, and wanted to see the terms regarding appearance and salt damage; also installer had an illness that delayed installation for half a week). However, the finished product is remarkable, and the installer Sh'va was well spoken, polite, and worked with skill and diligence to complete the job. Both sales and installation folks were timely with appointments, and the owner was available and well spoken. Not the cheapest, but clearly the best.

Job went a little slower than expected due to weather and muddy terrain as a result, however the guys persevered and got everything done. They arrived to do the job about a week earlier than they estimated, which was nice. Price was a little higher than expected but we went with DanDale because of the positive reviews here. Willing to pay more for quality, basically. There was a bit of a hiccup with communication, because of the weather they couldn't get as much done, but instead of letting us know before they left, the guys just took off early one of the days. It wasn't a huge deal, they explained it the next day when I asked, and we got a call from Jordan (the boss man) after the job was completed and talked it out with him. No concerns on that front, the effort to make it right...made it right! Nice work, would definitely recommend even with the minor hiccups for weather and communications.

Excellent. Prompt communication and kept me updated since we both understood this was a small job and would have to be worked in between other projects. Apparently, did such a good job that a neighbor asked them for an estimate on a deck while they were there

Contacted Dan Dale Fence for estimate.  Jordan responded very quickly.  He looked over the area and then we sat down and decided what fence design we liked and what height.  We selected  the  4 ft. Madison  that is 3ft.at lowest points.  We paid $300 down with remaining due when fence was delivered and when completed.  Our conversations were pleasant and to the point. Work was completed in 2 days in a professional and pleasing manner.   Jordan and his crew were helpful and easy to work with.

The process took about two hours to complete, which was much faster than I anticipated. Jordan and Thomas were both very professional and knowledgeable. The finished product looks great! My fence is back in place and I feel confident it will stay that way.

The work was competed on time and good quality.  I would recommend this contractor.  

They were very kind and did not take a long time to start and complete the service. I was assured that they would not take final payment for the services that I received until they were sure that I was pleased with the outcome. It is so hard these days to find people that will provide you with quality work and feel as though I found that in DanDale fence! They even offered to clean up after themselves once the work was completed but I declined. I need to give my home a deep cleaning anyway. The offer was very kind and thoughtful though.

Jordan was punctual, professional, and genuinely concerned that we were happy with the entirety of the project. Thomas was an experienced installer and it showed. He was always on time and ensured that I was notified of any weather delays. He and Jordan worked quickly to resolve any discrepancies.

Jordan and Thomas from DanDale Fence are very informative and professional.  The fence was installed very quickly and looks great.  I will use them in the future for other projects.

After reading many reviews, we chose to contact DanDale Fence for a free estimate. Jordan (owner) was quick to respond and was out looking at what we needed done by the next day. He really spent time talking to us about what kind of fence we wanted and figuring out what our needs were for the fence. He helped us pick a fence that is both stylish and functional, and he got it for us at an amazing deal! He really went above and beyond our expectations. My husband and I are both extremely happy with the work that was done. The guys working with this company are just as courteous as the owner, all honest and hard working. Everyone was very receptive to our ideas of how we wanted the fence to look, and great with making sure we were satisfied every step of the way.

nia beachI gave him a date and he hit it in the middle of winter.  The quality of the woodwork was awesome.  He was always in contact and came and was involved the entire time with his crew.  If he was going to be 5 minutes late I got a call every time.  When I had a question and wanted some follow up on a few extra screws in the fencing he showed up and got it squared away 7 months after the job was complete.

It went extremely well. Provider did all the measuring and made suggestions. He arranged for Miss Utility to come so there were no issues with underground wiring, etc. Set posts in concrete one day and completed the job the following day. Everything was level and the finished project looks great!

Bottom Line/Short version: I needed a fence to keep my dogs in our yard (6ft white PVC 2 gates). After looking at doing it myself, I realized I don't have enough time, nor the expertise to make sure the fence is plum. Jordan met or exceeded all expectations except for ensuring the proper materials were on site prior to starting work.  He rectified this issue asap and got back on schedule.  I am extremely happy with his work and will contact him again for exterior work which is outside of my ability to complete (time or expertise).
I needed a fence to keep my dogs in our yard (6ft white PVC 2 gates).  After looking at doing it myself, I realized I don't have enough time, nor the expertise to make sure the fence is plum.  My wife and I looked at going through Lowes and Home Depot and were shocked by the sticker price over the cost of materials.  Jordan came in way under their cost and was very upfront about what he was charging and why.  It is a business, and he has to make money too.
Jordan was great, while he did not do the all the work (hes the owner, overseeing several jobs so this is to be expected), he came by at the start, the end, and very frequently in between to ensure the workers were on task, on schedule and our questions were being answered.  The fence went up extremely fast, two days if I remember right.  The only reason I marked the company down for punctuality was because there was an issue with the delivered materials which was not caught until the day they were supposed to start work.  In my opinion, this should have been caught immediately (the materials were available for 48hrs for inspection, but it wasn't done until the day work was starting).  To Jordan's credit, he found it within 45mins of arriving on site and had it fixed within 24hrs.  While this is out of Jordan's/Dandale's ability to effect prior to shipping, it should have been caught sooner in my opinion.
The guys who were over to actually complete the work were outstanding and extremely professional.  My wife and kids were home and had nothing but great things to say about them.  I stopped by unannounced a few times to check on them during the day (not just lunch, but morning and afternoon as well), and they were always hard at work making significant strides.  When I talked to them about what they were doing, they were polite and professional, but not the sterile type of fake professional I have seen with other people.  They were genuinely friendly and took pride in describing what they were doing and went into detail as to why as well.
Do not hesitate to use this Jordan and his crew.  They do fences and decks and all kinds of other things.  If Jordan doesn't do it (which is unlikely), he can turn you onto a guy who does do it and does it well.

Fence workers were timely and polite.  Upon completion I noticed the gate dragged on the ground when it was opened due to being hinged from the downhill side.  Upon mentioning this to the owner, he informed me that I could use that to hold the gate open.  I also mentioned that the neighbor informed me that there were wood scraps in his yard.  The company's owner said several times he didn't feel he should hop the fence since the homeowner was not outside and as a result I had my son cleaned up after the contractor.  The fence is good looking and sound.  The gate was an honest mistake, but insult did not mix well with injury when it comes to my understanding of the use of a gate.
Siding was installed, but the undersill strip was not installed because the owner stated he did not have the equipment to safely access the top of the chimney.
