The job he did went fine overall except for the redo, however I would question his professionalism since that point. I would say that getting an estimate to compare on a job is important and as with any construction being able to trust the reliability of a contractor is upmost

He was really good. He was fast, thorough and professional. His prices were reasonable. He showed up on time and cleaned up rather well behind himself. He inspected the job thoroughly. He paid attention to detail and made sure he had the tile laid evenly. He did a great job.
