Jim Craig came to the house promptly when I had had to call in Virginia Natural Gas to get the gas turned off due to a malfunctioning oven. He came the same day and installed a shut off valve and new line and tried to figure out what was wrong with the oven but without gas he could not be sure. The VNG inspector looked at his work and said it was "by the book" and excellent. I ended up getting a new oven and the city inspectors said all looked good.

Do not use this company. Never completed job that they were hired to do. Left 3 poles sticking out of ground with yellow caution tape and a deep large hole that has filled up with water. Called multiple time, left 3 VM’s and reached out on FB with no response. Totally unacceptable. Would not use again.

I cannot say enough good things about Jim.  When things went wrong he took care of me.  He was very professional and responsive, with excellent plumbing skills. 
Beyond that, he also appears to be a good and kind person.  I felt very comfortable having him in my home.

Jim showed up within an hour and a half of calling him - he was on another job and said he'd be over as soon as he wrapped up.  Shortly after he arrived he saw what the problem was and what needed to be done to allow us to at least have water restored to the house.  He went to work and had the damaged valve removed with hot and cold feed lines capped for the time being.  We will have him back to replace the old valve soon.  He was professional and talked me through what he was doing and explained my options for the immediate problem.
Jim did good work and I'll be sure to use him in the future.

Jim Craig answered my call promptly and was at my house within the hour as he said. He determined the leak was coming from the disposal that had become loose, he corrected it. We also had a problem with the water pressure from the faucet, he found out it was obstructed with some plastic particles coming from the plastic sensor valve from the hot water recirculating system.

Jim Craig is an expert plumber and has a very high standard of quality service - hire him for your plumbing needs as we certainly intend to use his services in the future.  He provided an estimate of $3800 to replace all crest water pipes in a 3 level townhouse - we wanted them replaced before we moved into our new home as we did not want to deal with any future issues with the pipes leaking or bursting.  Before work was started,  Jim arrived on time for our appointment to provide a second estimate for relocating the hot water heater from the attic to the lower level.  He discussed our options for relocation as well as the pros and cons of a tank less HWH.  We settled on relocating the unit to the garage where the unit would be electric versus natural gas. 
Jim was great in working with the moving settlement date of our house to get us into his work schedule so the repairs could be completed as soon as possible.  We had a lock box on the house - so the workers had full access during the week it took to complete the repairs.  We arrived at the house after the repairs were almost completed and spent a few nights to make sure all the plumbing fixtures were operational and there were no visible leaks. 
The plan for replacing the water pipes was well planned with consideration given to the least amount of drywall removal as possible and the need to secure the new Pex pipes every 3 ft.  The workers cut out rectangular/square sections of drywall with straight lines - which the subsequent drywall contractors stated was much appreciated and made repairs a lot easier.  The house was left neat and clean and all debris was removed - Jim even sweep out the garage to make sure all construction dust was removed. 
Jim's workers showed up on Monday morning to finish the job - they were courteous and polite and were happy to address the few minor issues we had identified.  Jim himself showed up about an hour later to perform a quality check of the work and answered any questions we had about the repairs.  He returned the next day to address two minor items after he purchased the required supplies.  At this time, he asked for 80% payment of the contract price of $6100 - leaving a 20% balance as final payment when they would return to reset one commode after the drywall repairs were completed.   Jim had not asked for a deposit before the work was started.

They did a fantastic job. The two workers he brought with him were extremely neat, clean, and professional. They even put on booties so as not to track dirt through the house. I felt it was just super service.

On a Monday in March I called Jim Craig to let him know that I had an issue with an apparent leak from the master bathroom which was creating a water stain on the ceiling in the family room. I left a voicemail for him to call me back. The next day he returned my phone call to say the Matthew would come by to take a look at it on Friday. That Friday, Matt and Brent came to the house. They discovered that the on/off valves in the shower stall of the master bathroom were dripping inside the wall, and were the likely culprit for the stain on the ceiling of the room below. They recommended several options, and after some discussion, I decided to have them remove the two valve system and convert to a one valve system using a Delta Remodel Plate to cover the faucet handle openings in the shower stall. Matt and Brent were courteous and well-mannered. Their casual appearance belied a thorough knowledge of the workings of their trade. They were not able to complete the work for several weeks, due to some manufacturing delays and other factors, but they did not charge me anything until the work was fully completed.

We have an old water line, two buildings.  Each house has an individual water line and two units have old inside, four bathrooms, two kitchens and four showers.  It's been three years and no problems. They are very great.  For everything about plumbing, everything, the price is right.  This company the guy is smart enough, they all get through with no problem.

Jim Craig is great! He came when he said he would, was very professional,and customer service oriented. He explained things clearly in a very helpful and understandable manner and did what he agreed to do. When I had burst pipes he came quickly and "saved the day" as well as stopping any further damage. And I would definitely trust him in my home if I needed work done and I was not there. Excellent excellent, excellent!!!!

It took about 3 hours to complete. The intial consult was done by owner and the tech provided the service efficiently and professionally. We initally thought the problem was from the water heater however, it only affected this shower therefore he want to address the shower first and advised to wait and watch the water heater. Thanks for his honesty because it saved us a bigger bill for a water heater replacement.

All work was performed as agreed.  Workers were experienced and professional.   I am very satisfied with the new hot water heater and the quality of service that I received.  I will definitely use this company for all future plumbing needs.
