Last year, at the 12 month mark, my bill had jumped from $99 to $155, without notice. They told me then that that was because my special rate had ended. If I had known that it was going to jump $60 in another year, I would have secured another service provider well in advance of this latest jump.
When I told them I wanted to cancel, they tried to get the price down. We finally agreed to a reduction to $180, which is still too much to pay. I am shopping around, now, for a new provider. All I have is basic cable and no movie channels. Cable companies should be better regulated by the government. They have a near monopoly, which is bad for consumers.

I was unable to turn my television on and off and the gentleman came in and he reprogrammed it and now its working. The professionalism is very good.

When we moved to the area Cox came to our new home to install hardware and activate services. The technician came within the stated time window and was professional and courteous. However, the prices have climbed steadily every few months since then and we are now paying nearly $200 a month for the same services that once cost $119. Without wanting to go to satellite I feel as though we have few other options. Service and products are fine but very disappointing prices.

I don't like anything about them except that their internet speed is very fast. Their cable selection, their customer service, and their pricing all stinks.
