"We were called late afternoon on February 25, 2010 for a basic installation. She was insistent to have it installed that evening. We agreed to a same day late evening install. She wanted the basic $195 installation which included the mount, cable, wire mold conceal, and installation. She even indicated upon the arrival that we offered the best price. We went upstairs and were shown where to place the LCD TV. No height requirement was given at this time. I then spoke briefly about concealing the wires behind the trim around the fireplace rather than using a "wire mold" type method. She was made aware that we were unable to provide a premium service at the time and we could return later in the week. She agreed to the basic install and went down stairs. Her husband stayed and I discussed with him that we could place the bottom of the TV right at the top of the trim so no wires would have been shown running from the TV down to the trim. He agreed we proceeded to mount the TV. He paid in full for the service by check at the completion. The mount we used and include with the package deal is for a 32" to 42" TV standard and have never received a complaint about the said mount. The mount is 1"less side to side in measurement than the standard 32" TV. Her complaint to us was not that the mount stuck past the TV but that was black and did not look good with her pale green walls. She also stated that the LCD computer monitor mount she purchased is new to "radio shack" and they just started carrying them to adapt to larger TV's (i.e. 32"). Even though this should have been considered another service call we removed our mount and installed hers "which has two bars sticking up at the top as well as the bottom" she explained she would have her husband "hack saw them off". The wire mold was installed and the job considered complete for a second time at her request. Regarding her phone calls, she called to complain on March 1, 2010. We did call her back as soon as the message was received and explained as soon as we could schedule to get someone out to her home we would. There are 2 installers and we were both out of town for a large commercial installation of TVs. We contacted her on March 4, 2010 as we had an installer in her area. She did not return the call until Friday March 5. We did upon her request arrive on Saturday March 6. At the door she notified me that this would be a completely new install. What bothers us is that out of the phone conversations she failed to mention that we had left a $180.00 impact wrench on site. On March 6 we asked for it the impact wrench. She stumbled with her words and admitted she had it in a safe place away from the children. It was obvious she would have kept our wrench. We have done countless installs for residential and commercial clients. We have large accounts including apartment buildings and retail outlets that have gone without a single complaint. I have to admit that on most residential installations it is common for us to receive a monetary tip. We hope to continue this tradition. Spoken from installer, Duane, himself."
"We went to the property to perform the work as scheduled in the fall of 2009. We were unable to perform the work due to tree service being done on the homeowner’s property. The tree service was obstructing the area we were to perform the work. We had to pay two employees a half a day's pay to wait for the tree service to finish grinding stumps which we were told it would take no more than an hour. Unfortunately, one of our employees was hit in the head with flying debris from the stump grinding, however we made no complaint. We returned the next day to finish the job by pushing back the jobs already scheduled to take place for other customers. The customer was satisfied with the job as they paid the contract in full. A month later we were contacted stating there was a leak in the gutter. We went to the property only to find the gutters full of leaves. We cleaned out the gutters, free of charge. This is normally a service call that we offer as one of our services. We came back after being called a few weeks later to check on the gutters to find the down spouts full of leaves and unable to drain. Again, free of charge we cleaned the gutters but were unable to seal due the leak due to standing water. We returned a couple of days later to seal the leak only to find the gutter damp. We dried the damp area and sealed the gutter. The leaking or runoff was due to the clogged gutters. Regular cleaning of leaves or debris needs to be removed in order for the gutters to work properly. There is a warranty on all our work and we have made every attempt to satisfy this client. We have a long list of satisfied residential and commercial clients."
