Chief's Appliance Repair & Dryer Vent Cleaning

The service man, Mike, walked in and I asked if there was anything I could do to make his job any easier, such as empty some of the shelves in the fridge.  He said "No, I'm done.  We don't work on those icemakers."  He proceeded to make phone calls regarding a dishwasher he had a problem with on another call. He collected a $100 for coming out to tell me they do not work on this part.  He would not leave without the money in hand and was attempting to be very demeaning.  A complaint was filed with AHS, as well.

I didn't have to order a new panel. He just took it apart and fixed the part I already had. I was very pleased at not having to do that. They always go the extra mile. The owner is retired Navy and we've just had really good luck with them. Last year I had a problem with my old refrigerator. They spent a lot of time tracking down this part, we got it, and they were great! They did all the checking and calling and it was out in California! They just went the extra mile. I don't plan on hiring anyone else but them!

Service was prompt, professional and reasonably priced.

I called on Memorial Day and they answered the phone, scheduled the appointment for the next day! The guy came out and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. They were just very, very good!

I have used Chiefs appliance over the past few years and spent over $5k
on repairs . He charges outrages service call fees even when he h as to come back and fix something he fixed with in 30 days .
I go on and on about being overcharged and taken advantage of but dont have the time . I would not recomend this company to any one !!!

These folks were very nice on the phone, but I never actually met anyone or had any work completed. They never called me back to re-schedule even though they told me they would.

1. Oven not working properly. Broil ignited bad. Replaced broil igniter unit. Work completed same day as service call.2. Disassembled dryer to clean dryer well. Work completed same day as service call.

They were excellent. They are good, honest people. They gave their word and they came through. They told me exactly what was wrong and what to expect. They came back right after I had talked to them and the machine stopped working. They warrantied their work. They have good customer service and very honest.

I called Chiefs Aplliance Repair and the female that answered the phone was cordial and I provided her with the model and serial number of my dishwasher and advised her that the touch pad had gotten progressively worse and it finnaly gave up the ghost. An appointment was made and the repairman/owner responded within the two hour window that they had promised. My wife was at home and the repairman/owner.. after pressing three buttons on the touch pad.. told her that the malfunction was the touch pad!! I spoke with him over the phone and and was informed that he was charging us $65.00 for the diagnostic that he just performed and that it would not be deducted from the final cost!!! When I explained that other repairman either do free estimates or deduct the diagnostic from the the bill he chuckled and told me that I was paying for his gas and time!!! I asked the owner/repairman if he could wait 10minutes for me to get home so we could discuss this and he stated that he didnt have the time.

They came to evaluate problem in one day. They gave options and we decided on repalacement of a part. The part was ordered and came in one week as promised. They were professional from first call to completion of job.
