Chris and his team did an awesome job. He came to give an estimate the same day we called, and the job was done the next day. The crew was courteous and quick and left the yard spotless. We were pleasantly surprised that the job cost almost ONE THIRD of an estimate from another company. We highly recommend Chesapeake Bay Tree and will definitely use them in the future.

There are not enough words to explain how thankful we are for Chris and his team who came all the way to NC to help clean up from hurricane Florence. We evacuated and came home to a mess of a house, with a huge tree on our roof and half our trees knocked over throughout our yard. We live back in the woods with only a small dirt road with a creek on either side, very difficult to get to. We were turned away by several companies, which told us the job was too difficult and would require too many men. Then there was our saving grace, Chris and his crew. The moment we met Chris, he told us it would be a heck of a job but he loved a challenge. That right there goes to show what kind of dedication him and his team have, for the work they do! Not only did they show up a day early because we had rain coming and needed to get the tree off the house, they went above and beyond to work with the obstacles of our difficult terrain. I have never witnessed a team work as hard and quickly as they do! We are forever grateful for them and there is no one I could recommend more for this kind of work! Chris and his team did an awesome job cutting down the two trees in my front yard. One was getting into the power lines and Chris contacted Dominion power, had them trim it away from the power lines. Chris gave me the best price from several quotes. I will hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone. they were in and out quickly. Cleaned up after themselves. I wish all businesses' operated this way

Chris and his crew did an excellent job removing a large and dying oak tree from a difficult place in our backyard. They were very professional and efficient. They had to remove a large portion of our fence with some shrubs to gain access to the backyard with their cherry picker truck. Upon completion they left the landscape clean and free of debris. They replaced the fence and the shrubs. They also filled in any indents made by the tree when they felled it. One would hardly know that they were ever here after the work was completed. We highly recommend this company.

I interviewed 6 tree companies in 2008 for our first job.  Chesapeake Bay Tree handed me the following documents; insurance, city permit, references, owned all of the tools, did not rely on renting the tools necessary to do the job.  Three of our neighbors hired Chesapeake Bay Tree just after watching how the job went.

First experience was fine. So we decided to use them gain to remove 2 trees in font yard. Called 3 times finally got someone to respond and then never showed up to give estimate. If you are persistent you might get them to come an give estimate. Not sure it is worth all that effort.

Fantastic! They showed up with an army of people and trucks and quickly got the job done. I added on an extra part of the tree to be trimmed and they made me feel that it was no big deal for them to add it on.

This is our 2nd job performed by Chesapeake Bay Tree and we were just as pleased this time as the first. The crew arrived as scheduled and worked like a well oiled machine, everyone was in sync. They cleaned as they cut. The 100 ft tree was down in approx 3.5 hrs, the crew broke for lunch and returned to take down the second tree, grind the stumps and remove the remainder of the debris. Our yard was raked, indentions (very minimal) were filled, the wood/sawdust was blown from our roof and sidewalks. The chips were taken to a local horse farm for recycling and the large portions of the trees are to be picked up and used by a lumber company. We are pleased that the trees were being used for other purposes and not just being dumped. Chris Mowery does a great job and his crew is terrific. We highly recommend them and will use them again when needed.

They were responsive to my initial call to give me an estimate. About a week later they performed the work ahead of some anticipated rain that would have damaged my front yard with their heavy equipment. They arrived on time with a crew that worked quickly and efficiently. There was no damage to the yard, and the cleanup was great. Good price based on other quotes I received, and they did everything they said they would do. I'll definitely use them again.

They arrived promptly and worked quickly, cleaning up all the debris as they worked. They did a great job! We will definitely call them again when we need additional tree work done.

Overall it was an excellent experence. I have used three other companies in the last 10 years and they did a good job

but Chesapeake Bay Tree is the company to use. I am very pleased and I am not easy to please.
Price was right work was excellent.. I will now use Chesapeake Bay Tree going forward.

They followed the protocol. They did a lot of work and their prices were reasonable. I would use them again.

Chesapeake Bay Tree employee was very professional. He gave me an estimate in the morning for two tree stump removals and was back that afternoon for removal and cleaned up their mess. Very Impresses with service and price.

They were fantastic from start to finish. Gave us the best price we'd been quoted by far. They showed up when they said they would. The crew was polite, professional and everyone clearly knew what they were supposed to do. They took down a huge tree in about 1 1/2 hours (actually it was fascinating to watch). When they were gone you could hardly tell they'd even been there.
Only 2 small complaints: They left a fair sized depression in my yard where the one of the sections had fallen and they forgot to close the gate behind themselves - both easily forgiven considering it was intensely hot and later in the afternoon and I'm sure they were ready to go home. A small oversight considering the absolute professionalism of the entire operation.
Bonus perk: The owner offered me a free load of firewood. Said he would drop it off in my driveway.
I almost wish I had another tree to take out just so I could watch them work again. If I ever do need another tree service, I won't even bother getting other quotes. I'll just call them back.

They were really good. It didn't look like there had been a tree there. My overall experience with them was excellent. Their prices were competitive. They were responsive and punctual.

Chesapeak Bay Tree Service was very polite and on time. Chris Mowery was very professional and so was his crew. He was on time and if he could not make it he would call and let me know he was unable due to the weather. He had all the right equipment to get the rather large trees cut down in a timely fashion. Due to the weather it took him and his crew a few days to get the job done, but Chris always kept me informed of what was going on and he cleaned up his mess when he was done. He even sent his truck to pick up the logs afterwards. I asked him if I could keep some of the logs for my fireplace and he cut some extra pieces for me. I would use him again to cut my last two tree's down.

The Job was to remove 3 Oak trees from my yard stump grind them and leave the area as if the trees were never there. One part of the job that would of been complicated for most other companies i requested an estimate and NOT for Chesapeake Bay Tree was that one of the Oaks was close to my home and my deck. The Estimator Mr. Errin Otterson understood the service needed and the timeline and made sure that every detail was handled as requested. They arrived on time and completed the job amazingly and safely in 4hours Unbelievable. I'm overly satisfied with the result. Chesapeake Bay Tree Inc, have restored my faith in service providers/Contractors. I have already recommended their services to neighbors and friends alike. I will definitely use them again.

They were excellent. We've had them a couple of times. They were very good. They were very professional and their service was good. Their price was very fair compared to the others in the area. We had a sponsor here that took down a large tree. Our neighbors had had them before and recommended them. They were really good. This was actually the second time that they worked here.

They were great and they did a great job.

The experience with Chris and the Chesapeake Bay Tree Service was a great one. I was actually schedule for the last week of March, but do to rain the night before Chris called me and asked if he could come cut the trees down on 3/24/11. He was very polite and very reasonably priced. The guys who actually did the service were very professional, they even cleaned up everything once they were done. I had informed Chris before the job that I wanted him to chop some of the wood up so I may use it for my fireplace, he forgot to chop the wood up; however he did promise me that he would have his guys drop some chopped wood up to me the very next day. Chris was very easy to talk to and I would use him again to chop my last two trees down.
