Cay's Pool And Concrete

This spring, our family purchased a home with an in-ground concrete pool in which, from inspections made before we bought the property, we knew there were surface (and possibly plumbing) leaks.  The prior residents had not taken care of the pool.  It was a disgusting algae pond.  Also, the above ground plumbing that was not professionally installed looked like something out of an M.C. Escher drawing (try a Google image search for "Escher Relativity". The stairs in that artwork closely approximate the appearance of the plumbing).  We asked Cay's to come by to give us an estimate on how much it would cost to repair the leaks, fix the plumbing, and clean the pool so we could get it up and running.  Leo, the owner of Cay's, visited us in the evening after both my wife and I were done with work.  He carefully looked over the pool and proceeded to tell us how we could easily take care of cleaning the pool up and repairing surface leaks by ourselves without having to needlessly shell out a bunch of cash.  We are pool novices so he carefully explained in detail the steps we should take and the materials we would need (all of which could easily be obtained at Home Depot or Lowe's).  He suggested that after we took those steps and got the pool running, if it appeared that there were greater problems such as leaks in the plumbing, we should get in touch with him for further help.  Likewise, he suggested that the wacky Escherian amateur plumbing could be repaired at a later time.  For the evaluation and guidance, Leo charged us a whopping $20.  We followed his advice: drained the pool, scrubbed it down, sealed surface cracks with sealant and filled it with water.  About a week later, we had a beautiful pool to enjoy.  Now it does seem that it is time to have the sub-par plumbing repaired and we know who we are calling for help.  If the quality of the workmanship is half as much as Leo's integrity, honesty, helpfulness and customer service, I know that we will be more than pleased.

From the time I sat down  with Leo to actually taking the first splash in our new pool, Leo and his guys were top
notch.  He actually took the time to show us many of his finished pools in the area and let us speak to previous customers on their pool installation experience.  In my opinion, this personal interaction was very helpful for us to make our decision.  Leo is very reliable and returns phone calls promptly.  As you can see from pictures below, his work is the best, second to none. I absolutely would recommend him and his company for all pool, pavers, and concrete and outdoor beautification projects first before any others.

 I was so impressed with the customer service I received.  Leo, company owner, was so helpful and hands on during the project.  I work in the corporate world and customer service is imperative - I would give this company an A+.  From the first visit to negotiate the price to the final balancing of the chemicals he answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help me with any question I had about my pool.  I have been recommending him to everyone I know who has a pool.  He gave top notch service and product.  Thanks Leo for restoring my faith in home repair!

Well we are now in September 2013, In our original agreement Cays pools was to open the pool this spring, I didn't realize that "opening the pool" consisted of just pulling the cover off and allowing all the winter waste water and trash to fall into the pool, but that's what I got, it took approximately 5 weeks to get the water clear. Initially Cays pools was responding to my problems with water chemistry and getting the filtration system running, but the last call I put into the owner to ask a question about the computer controlled filter and inquire about the few items that needed addressing,(replacement of one paver) have still gone unanswered 2 months latter.I placed multiple calls to LEO the owner, but only got his voice mail. I ended up having to go to a pool store that carried the same filtration system I had installed by Cays pools to get the answers needed to correct my system. With their help, although I had not purchased the system from them I was able to solve my setup problems, Agean Pools gained a customer, Cays pools lost one, and I can no longer recommend them for installation of new or remodeling of existing pools, Leo will initially be very attentive to your needs as a customer but eventually forget that you have spent large sums of money with him, and will leave you high and dry,Good luck to anyone choosing Cays pools.

I was ecstatic with them. I had gotten quotes and he hit home runs on every element of the project.
