Campbell's Painting

The reason I don't have a price listed for work performed is because this company was subcontracted to paint/complete a mantle install I had done.  I was a little hesitant about having a sub come in, but was very pleased with the work.  Ron and Sherri were called in to finish the job that was originally planned for a Monday, but work was completed ahead of time and they came out on a Sunday afternoon!  I was shocked.  They were very professional and courteous and got the job done in a timely manner.  Before leaving they ensured that we were satisfied with the job and made any corrections that needed to be made.  Excellent work and will be giving them a call for future paint work. 

Campbell Painting is owned/operated by Colin Campbell who does all the work himself. Colin was prompt, courteous and professional at all times. His painting work was excellent and he was very careful to protect my floors, rugs and furniture. He sanded/patched/caulked areas on my walls and molding where necessary. He works alone, so it took around 1 week to complete my job but he worked room by room, so it was easy for me to carry on around him and I was barely inconvenienced at all. He also packed all his equipment and drop cloths away each evening so we weren't tripping over them. I actually like the fact that he works alone, as I knew all the work was being done by an experienced professional and there wasn't a revolving cast of characters trooping through my house. No chance for a bait and switch as can happen with bigger operations! Colin's rates were reasonable but weren't the cheapest estimate I got. However I feel that I really got my money's worth, given the quality of his work, attention to detail and all the extras he provided (patching, high-quality Benjamin Moore paint, etc.) To give you some idea how he operates - Colin only charged me what he'd originally estimated, even though he used a higher grade paint than he'd specified. I told him I would happily pay the difference, but he stuck with his original quote. How often does that happen these days? Colin is wonderful and I definitely recommend his services. I will absolutely use him again for any future painting projects.

Mr. Campbell and crew arrived to start the job on time as planned. There was lots of attention to detail. As the painting was in progress, the crew took turns observing each others work and making corrections as needed. Once the job was completed, Mr. Campbell took the initiative to spot check again, to re-enforce a job well done. We were pleased and would recommend this company.
