BROOKS TREE SVC

Came Tuesday 7/19/16 and was done by the time I got home, and the yard was all cleaned up.

Work was performed as promised. Trees look really good now that they have been trimmed.

Very professional, prompt and hauled away all trimmings. Did a great job and now some understory plantings will have more light!

Everything went well from the first appointment when Mr Brooks arrived to discuss the work we wanted to have done. He was very professional and as an arborist was able to advise us on the best strategy for accomplishing our goals. He presented us with a detailed description of the work to be done and the cost. The day he arrived with his crew everything went smoothly. He was there to supervise them. They were very hard working and courteous. When the job was done everything looked great and they area was left clean and neat.

Mr Brooks and I discussed what I w anted in the beginning and he wrote a estimate. As I said before I would use tr him again if I have more issues with my trees.

I got his name through a nursery. He does great work, but he is a little pricey.

Mr. Brooks is very polite on the phone and gave the impression of being very knowledgeable in his field. He returns calls promptly and politely. He is knowledgeable but some of his information is out of date. He pushed me into topping two trees (although he made up his own word for it...but that's what it is...TOPPING) but the arborists website NEVER recommends topping trees and frowns on the practice. Some other person might be bullied by his self-important demeanor but I was not since I have some knowledge of tree care procedures. He can be overwhelming. He promises a lot, and he was there during the whole job...make sure he stays for you too, since his crew seems to need a lot of direction and they skipped a section of my yard when I was tending to my child and not watching. He promised a bit more than he seemed to actually give...he is a good talker. All in all a good job, but they skipped one grove of trees and when I pointed that out, they did a rush job since: it was near the end of their workday, they had agreed to fit in a quick cash job for my neighbor, and they were far from their home base. Fitting in a job for my neighbor while they were supposed to be contracted to work on my yard really pissed me off. When doing his free estimate, Mr. Brooks made a comment about possibly having to charge soon for gas money since he was far from his home base but I made it clear that that didn't seem to make sense since I was familiar with the drive in question and it was only 20 minutes max.

They brought out heavy equipment to help with the removal and to avoid any more damage to my home. They were a very professional group of people and it was amazing to watch them do their job. I would highly recommend them to others.

They went right to work when they got here, and did a good job at a really good price. They were a very professional crew, and we had no complaints. They finished the job pretty quick considering how much work there was.

They were awesome; they were very busy so they came out on the weekend for us. The owner is an arborist so he really knows what he's doing. He informed us so that we save the one tree. He is a very honorable guy and a constant gentleman. I would not consider using any one else. His services were not the cheapest, but they were definitely worth it.

These people did a fabulous job. You can't even tell that there were even any trees in the yard. They handled everything perfectly and they cleaned everything up and hauled away all of the wood for me. I would be happy to five these guys a great recommendation.
