BROOKS ELECTRIC CO

I have used Brooks electric for over 15 years for my HVAC and electrical work in my own residence and 2 rental properties. They have always done an excellent job at a reasonable price. I also trust them. When other vendors have tried to talk me into buying a new HVAC unit, Brooks explained exactly what was wrong and made repairs to the existing unit, keeping it running for years and saving me thousands of dollars. I have also used them for HVAC replacement and their price was vary fair. Recommend them highly.

They did not communicate to me that they had no idea how to bill Medicaid.  They finally came out 5 months after originally asked and put in the generator.  It failed after the first power outage 1 month later.  They NEVER called to say when they were coming although requested they call every time.  Didn't get permits.  I called the city when the gas pipes appeared to be rusted and I wasn't satisfied with their idea of just painting the pipes.   
City took no action till the second time I called a couple of months later.  Had to run interference with Medicaid to get the company its payment as I was called and yelled at over the phone at work for "sicking the city on them" after doing me a favor and not getting paid.  He refused to do any repairs until paid. Even after getting paid, I still was not called.  Their men would show up and tell the person at my house they had called and spoken to me about when they were coming (never happened -- not once after the initial housecall). The city has now inspected their corrected placement of the generator, so I hope it's safe.  It still doesn't work as they have sent me to another company that services this generator's warranty.
