Becker's Piano Tuning

Mr. Becker arrived right on time, and was quick to tune the piano. I was very impressed with his knowledge of all pianos and I mean how they are built what makes them sound good and how to make them sound good. His music skills are fantastic, I was expecting someone to come and tune the piano and leave. His tuning method is high tech and very efficient, and when during the tuning he plays the piano and hits every note to make sure it is indeed tuned. Once he completed tuning the piano he let me hear the "like new" piano sounded by performing a few numbers which allowed me to hear the richness and wonderful tone of the piano. I do highly recommend him to anyone with any type of piano for tuning their baby.

I purchased this for my daughter who has an old piano that hasn't been tuned in over 20 years. My daughter said Mr. Becker was excellent. He was very polite, considerate, friendly and did an excellent, professional job of tuning an old piano. He even took the time to teach my son-in-law a few pointers in reading music. Would highly recommend Mr. Becker.

Would absolutely recommend Kyle to anyone needing piano tuned!! He's very knowledgeable, professional yet friendly and very prompt in returning phone calls. Had to reschedule the day before and was more than accommodating in trying to fit it in at another time that day. Piano tuning was a reasonable $85. It was an $20 to bring the strings back up to a certain pitch (excuse my lack of knowledge here my husband is the piano player) . The piano is newly refinished and restrung so the strings were super tight and have loosened up I guess over time. Will definitely be using Kyle in the future!!

Kyle was prompt and professional. He spent an hour tuning the player piano and even played it for us when he was finished! I would highly recommend Kyle's piano-tuning service. I will be using him again and I am also recommending him to my neighbors and friends.

Kyle clearly knows pianos inside and out, and enjoys working with them. The piano we bought was used and certainly isn't a high-end model, but you wouldn't have known that based on his work - he was thorough, attentive, and did not mind explaining what he was doing. I've never owned a piano before and felt comfortable asking for his advice about things like how often to get it tuned, whether I should be worried about humidity, etc.

He was great and it was spectacular.

He was not rushed, but rather thorough and friendly. We had made an error in the address, and he not only tracked us down, but was very forgiving and polite when he got to our home. He had to come and give me a estimate initially. He is always on time and professional. He had to make several visits and actually had to rebuild some of the components but the piano sounds awesome!!! He provides quality work and I would definitely recommend him and use him again!!!

Kyle Becker came to my house to tune my Antique piano. I found out with Kyle's help that it was built/made in 1908! I had no idea! I purchased it from an Antique Store. It's and upright grand and I wasn't even sure it could be tuned. It was sitting in my living room holding photos and alot of dust! Kyle was able to tune it and even give me some of the History of the piano. I loved it and now that it is tuned and can actually be played, I love it even more!!. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner! The BEST PART was when after it was tuned, Kyle sat down and played for me! He is a Wonderful Pianist and very versitile in his music stiles! I especially loved when he played a "Rinky Tink" song (that's what my Grand Mother called it)....something like my Grandmother used to play for us....I had to stop myself from getting teary eyed! LOL ! It was interesting watching hiim tune and best of all here my piano played without cringing on all the bad notes. It was such a fun experience for me. Kyle You Are the Greatest! Too Bad they don't have an A++ score! Thank you so much!

I have lived in the Hampton Roads area since 2011. Not until now, have I been totally satisfied with any of the piano tuners in this area. Kyle did a PHENOMENAL job! Being a concert pianist, I am very difficult to please when it comes to tuning pianos. Plus, I had an emergency piano tuning need and Kyle was able to accommodate my schedule. I am very excited to have found Kyle. This guy is top notch, and I HIGHLY recommend him and his work.

He gave me an estimate on an old neglected baby grand and he is coming back to do a tuning over haul!
