Becker's Piano Tuning

Fantastic! I was worried there was no hope for my grandmother's old piano that hadn't been tuned in years, was severely out of tune, and had keys that were stuck. I couldn't believe my ears when the fella that tuned it began to play after he was finished. I wish I could have recorded it and send to family members... GREAT JOB!!!

Kyle was amazing! My family piano is from the early 1900s... and we're not sure it has even been serviced since 1914 (aside from a few creative DIY repairs Kyle found). Kyle was very friendly and let me pick his brain about his experiences as a piano tuner while he worked. He made replacements for broken pieces while I was watching, and it was clear he cares deeply about his work. Almost 15 years ago, we had a piano repairman (I think in Chesapeake?) tell my mother that fixing this broken old piano would be upwards of $900, which was partially why my family held off for so many years. Kyle's rates were a shocking and wonderful surprise. I actually asked if he was sure about them! I cannot recommend Kyle enough!

Kyle goes the extra mile. While tuning my piano he noticed a broken spring on the foot pedal and fixed it. He could have asked for more money to do it, but he just did. Also, as a technical and curious sort of person Kyle was nice to answer all my questions I had while he performed his work. He is very professional and friendly. I will definitely be hiring him again in the future.

Arrived promptly with phone call first. Piano had not been tuned for a very long time and needed extra work as described above. Additional costs were discussed before work was performed. Kyle was very professional and friendly. I would definitely call him again next year for retune.

Tuned and pitched and brought life back into our spinet and the enjoyment and pleasure of playing back into our home. Praise and admiration to Kyle for his professional and personal qualities, talent, skills and achievements. His is a unique specialty, a lost art, which Kyle eagerly and thoroughly demonstrates. The piano tuner came in and tuned my piano. It took maybe 30-45 minutes tops and he was finished. He made my concert grand sing again as beautifully as it did when purchased!

Fantastic service! Kyle Becker was on-time both visits - he was professional and offered his service with a kindness that allowed me to learn more about the old piano I had purchased from a local goodwill. I am not musically inclined but hope to encourage my daughter to enjoy the piano - and Kyle extended his attention in conversation with my 8 year old and when the tuning was completed he thrilled her with a little sample of some great piano playing! I am now eager to use the recommendations for one of the piano teachers listed on his website when I schedule piano lessons for my daughter!

It went very well. He was very manageable and explained some of the things he was doing. My daughter played the piano. He was good. I have no complains and I would recommend him. He was very punctual. He was very friendly and he gave my daughter some pointers. He could just come in, do the work and left but he was cordial.

I cannot say enough good things about Kyle Becker! He showed up on time, went right to work and did a BEAUTIFUL job of tuning my piano that hadn't been tuned in almost 20 years. It sounds wonderful and I can look forward to many years of playing enjoyment now that it has been restored to such a great condition. He replaced some broken strings and got the piano tuned to just the right pitch. It had apparently been improperly tuned the last time I had it tuned since the tuner had done it by ear. Kyle has been trained by Yamaha to tune pianos properly and did it with a machine that showed exactly when the proper pitch and tone had been reached. I feel like I have a new piano! I will definitely have Kyle back next year to keep my piano sounding just the way it should! Thanks, Kyle

Kyle showed up and was very responsive to making our piano sound the way it did originally. He made sure I understood what he was doing and what he recommended for the piano. He also showed me some basic things I could do to keep it functioning well. I would highly recommend his services. He spent about 3.5 hours and really did a great job! Very reasonably priced!!!! I really think he enjoyed playing it when he finished...I can say he would be very good for performing at a function if you are looking for that too!

I purchased their special of a full piano tuning. My piano had not been turned in close to 15 years but they came out the day after i purchased the special and got it done. The piano sounds great and he took great care to make sure nothing was damaged. I will be happy to have them come back out the next time i need to get anything done on my Piano.

Kyle was prompt and completed the tuning of my piano within 3 hours. He also help me to purchase a piano music desk, since the one that came with the piano was broken. I also purchase some coasters for the piano to protect my wood flooring from dents and scratches. Kyle gave me a couple of names of piano teachers around the area that he highly recommended.
