Andy was excellent. I have nothing but the highest regard for him. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He performed an extremely thorough inspection, took pictures of everything, and explained in detail exactly what he was checking for as well as what he found. He performed a few minor maintenance services such as tightening doorknobs and plumbing fixtures, offered tips and helpful advice for the home post-purchase, and even provided snacks and refrigerated bottled water. He also provided several (complimentary) supplemental services, such as a free one-year subscription to the Homeowner's Network and enrollment in a monthly recall monitoring service. He emailed the report the same day that the inspection was completed. Andy Rider is a consummate professional, and I would recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection. I'll never use anyone else.
